Nice Park, But Trim The Trees!
This place is pretty nice. Good location, but very hard to get in and out whether you have a trailer, fifth wheel or coach. The trees are so huge and tightly spaced, it makes turning to get out really tricky. Going in is easier, but getting out is another thing entirely. Maybe that’s why so many people live here permanently. They couldn’t get out! At least they’re friendly!

The Facts
This RV park is less than a mile from downtown San Juan Batista and an easy walk or bike ride. The highlight of the town is the old Spanish mission founded in 1797 and is definitely worth the visit. The park itself is a converted fruit farm with many old rustic buildings all in fairly good repair. The streets are paved and easy to maneuver. The sites are gravel and level. Sites vary is size and can accommodate any size vehicle. The setting includes being in a redwood grove which is very nice. Plenty of friendly employees and the park is clean and well maintained although the facilities are all old. The park has the infrastructure for cable but it no longer works and appears abandoned. There is limited WiFi at the office and the club house but not the sites. The park mostly caters to permanent or long term stays. Most are in fairly good condition and maintained. Due to the location, they are able to charged fairly high monthly rates. These aren’t the shabby rigs you see at some parks.
