We spent about four and a half months at River’s Edge RV Park. As a travel nurse, who works night shift, I cannot give appropriate accolades to the hosts.
I felt safe. I felt cared for and looked after.
This is a mom and pop park, so there are no frills like swimming pools and hot tubs; just nature. Jeremy was always helpful in determining adventures, and Meka was the hard headed mother we all need while on the road.
The facilities were clean. Dated, but cared for. Laundry and trash are locked from 8pm-7am. Cameras are installed to protect the campers. And visitors must check in at the office before moving to the campsites.
There are no pads, but the sites are level.
Pets are welcomed. My three legged Aussie loved to play ball in the huge grassed area (at least an acre of play space)
This RV Park offers laundry and amazing high pressure, hot showers. Electric, water, sewer, and recycling are also included. It’s about 10 minutes from Redwood Memorial Hospital.

Peaceful, Quiet, Beautiful, Safe, Clean
My wife and I stayed here a month while visiting our daughter and son-in-law here in Rio Dell.
This is a very nice place to stay.
Pet friendly.
Orderly.
Sunny pleasant weather(summer)
River views
Shade
No mosquitoes
Retired folk, seasonal workers with their families, Rv’ers passing through,
and vacationers all make up a nice friendly mix.
Kudos to the mangers

$50
The Good,bad,and Ugly
Friendly staff, river within 1000 yards
The bad, rate 40 by storage sheds or 50 by restroom/showers
The ugly, restrooms lack paint, dry rot visible, not willing to replace burned out lighting, showers do not have room for bench or chairs...

Wow. Ok, I'm gonna be harsh because I've spent a total of 8 months in my RV, driving east to west and back twice, hwy 1/101 2.5 times, and have stayed at many campgrounds from cheap to pricey. I've arrived after hours with zero problems -until this place. DO NOT SHOW UP LATE HERE.
Let's just say the lady wasn't all that welcoming to latecomers. After making us feel bad that we woke her up, she offered to accommodate but in an off putting way. The place has terrible signage and a bad vibe. Go south to Stafford.
