Be Aware Of The Roosters Next Door
We stayed in this park for 4 nights, and all four nights were disrupted by a couple roosters « signing » at 3:30 AM in the adjescent scrapyard. By no fault if the owners. The park in itself is nice and well layed out, BUT it’s located in a sketchy section of Myers Flat. The road to the park passes in front of what looks like run down garages and scrapyards. On the plus side, it’s in the Avenue of the Giants, and access to the state park is easy. I would have given more stars, but the immediate vicinity makes it hard to award more than 3.

Happy Camper 2022
Stayed over the weekend , as local get away. Stayed here before last summer and we experienced as before a very peaceful and quiet, relaxing time. Day or night it was awesome. Nature at our doorstep with the Giant Tress, the eel River, walking distance and just sit and hear the wind in the trees… This is our go to RV get away for the weekend…or anytime, since we are only 45min. Away…this RV park is perfect in many ways… Do stop by a see for yourself…

Good place to R.V. camp. Very clean with a nice layout. Sites 25 - 28 are next to kids' playground and park quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. We moved away from site 27. Park is a gem. Road in is a little scary but once you arrive it's awesome. Definitely will return!

COVID 19 GETAWAY
We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time. The place is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for....clean, clean, clean. The grounds are very well kept and upgrades are ongoing and underway. Good wifi. They have a large picnic area, horseshoe pits, playground, volleyball court, an amply sized dog park, laundry, cabins, a small store and private river access. Not a whole lot available in the way of supplies, so try to bring what you need. Fortuna is an easy 35 miles to the north on 101 where grocery and hardware can be found. The staff and clientele with whom we shared the park were friendly, courteous and respectful. We had a very quiet, peaceful escape from the rat race. We will definitely be back to unplug again. In the area: Humboldt Redwoods State Park-must see; Eureka, Arcata, Ferndale and the beautiful North Coast; a number of excellent breweries in the area offer great brew and pub food.

Beautiful
Stayed here for one night! Sites were fairly secluded, for an “RV Park” and fairly priced. Nice and quiet at night, which is somewhat rare these days. Short walk to a gorgeous swimming whole on the river. We were happy to have found this place while on our journey north, from the Bay Area to Tillamook, OR. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Nestled among some redwoods. Beautiful sites. Clean bathrooms. Constant smell of grey water treatment tanks and second hand pot smoke.

Nice, But stinky
The campground is nicely maintained and clean. There is a laundry room, which is $2 per load for washer and $2 for the dryer. We were in space 15, which was right next to the free WiFi, so that was great. The problem with that space was, we were downwind from the water treatment tanks and had a near constant foul odor from them. I would stay here again, but would find a different location.

Great RV Camping Spot
Coming into the place driving down the entrance road I was scared. However once entering I found this beautiful oasis. Private beach on the Eel River which is gorgeous. Beautiful views of the hills and trees. The staff is very nice and the facilities are very clean. There is a playground for the kids as well as paved roads in which the kids can ride their bikes. Management is very nice and the staff is very helpful. Definitely recommend!!!

Great Redwoods Location.
Nice sites, clean newer bathrooms and shower. Helpful managers and the staff cares. Office manager, Vicky, gave good advice about things to do plus maps and list of trails to hike. This park made us feel like we're staying at a National or State Park but with modern covenant campsites.

Loved It
Great place for families. Kids loved riding their bike around, playing on the playground, and playing by the river. Wish there was a few more sites with free coverage but had a great time. The check in was easy and stress free.

Wonderful Camping Grounds
We love it there, very good spots all around, hook ups are great and everything is working as. The staff is very pleasant to talk to and ask questions. I recommend this camp ground for beginners and expert adventurers alike. Kids friendly and pet friendly.

Relaxing Place
My family and I had a great and relaxing time here. Our spot was right next to the laundry facilities and it was perfect for us since it was time to wash. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will be back hopefully soon. I did not catch any fish but the beautiful river and the surrounding trees made up for it.

Booked two nights at his campground for a tent site before looking at the sites because everything else in the area was booked. Overall, the extreme close proximity between tent sites made the experience quite uncomfortable. Tents were literally within a couple of feet from each other. Felt contradictory to the idea of the great outdoors when you are crammed between two large groups. Only one of the tent sites had shade/a tree. Would not stay here again despite the nice, free shower.
