Clean & Quiet
Clean & quiet place. Friendly staff. Pool looked well maintained. Nice laundry room. Big area along the river to walk around with your dog. Our bummer was only 1 out of 3 restroom buildings was fully functional. 1 only male was open and the 1 by us was closed? The ones that were open looked brand new. Very nice. Looked like they were renovating the property with new sites. I got the feeling they are upgrading the place. No more tent camping which is probably to keep out the riff raff. All the RV,s here were nice. No junkers. 30 Amp was $60. Extra$5 for river side and extra $5 for wifi.

Clean Bathroom / Friendly Staff
I’m new to the RV world. This RV park was the first one we stayed at. I don’t have a lot of experience to go off of, but here’s my thoughts on this park..
lots of full timers. Very very close to I-5 with a lot of noise. Sites are close together.
However, the staff was very friendly and the showers were new and clean. Yes, it takes a good 5 mins for the water to get hot, but once it does, it’s endless hot water. That was nice. It’s pretty much on the River. Great if you want to fish. We were gone most of the day everyday that we stayed there, so we didn’t use the pool or tennis courts.
It was not a bad experience for our first stay at an RV park.

Mostly full timers. 99.5%. Not a good fit for us. This is a result of several large fires in the area plus California homeless problem. I would not recommend it. Unprofessional staff. I read other reviews on Yelp and trip advisor. Wish I had read them first. Drugs in the area and everything not nailed down gets stolen.

Don’t Stay Here
They say to lead with the sugar so, um, the showers are brand new and clean. Now for the salt: it takes forever to get water to come out of the shower heads and even longer for it to be hot. The sound of the Interstate is pervasive, which would be fine if you could ignore it by swimming (but the pool is closed even though it’s 95 freaking degrees outside) or if you could go for a walk (but the “walking path” is non-existent) or if you could play tennis (but the tennis courts are a wreck) or if you could play frisbee golf (but seriously do people even play that). This whole place is full of full-timers although I have no idea why. Just keep driving. I guarantee you it is better to pull over and sleep by the side of the road than it is to pay to sleep here.

I'm not recommending this place. Trash everywhere. You have maintenance people use them. My son found a hypodermic needle 5 minutes after being there. No hot water in remodeled bathrooms. Get rid of super trashy long term residents. JGW looked much nicer.

Horrible Place
Most everyone lives in this park--not travelers. Old run down trailers, some look like they should be condemned. Trashy! A fight broke out while we were there between tenants. Kids involved. It was just horrible living conditions. The gates look gorgeous from the freeway but not nice inside. Stay at the park next door! It's gorgeous. Called JGW or JWG or something. It's where we will go next time.

Would stay here again
Besides the noise from I-5, the stay is excellent. The pool was open, everything was in great working order. The cost per night wasn't bad either $38 with Good Sam discount. We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed the quiet at nights (besides the highway noise). Now we did stay here when it was 105 degrees here and we stayed cool under the awesome shade trees that the have here. We would reccommend staying here. Many people stop here just for a place to stay during the night.

Sac River Rv
Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Pool was closed for the season and the river access for fishing etc is extremely limited if you don't have a boat. The WiFi only worked before 7am. The I5 was very noisy and the park is directly under departures from Redding Airport. Considering other parks in and around Redding looked far worse, we would stay here again.

We found the park to be a good place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and changed our site to one where could get satalite tv. We were glad to be away from railroad noise and barely noticed I-5 traffic. Unlike many of the RV parks we have stayed at during this extended trip the 50 amp power was good and the site was level. The park was well maintained and had a large pool area. There is a path around the park and part of it is right along the river.
We would stay there again if we were in the area.
