This was a great R.V park to stay at in August. It was nearly empty but still relaxing .

Good and Bad
Emerald Desert has roomy spaces, manicured lawns and flowers and clean bathroom/showers. The main pool is beautiful and the gym has useful equipment. There is an adult pool and spa that is small and clean. It is not that inviting. The people staying here are friendly and respectful. The neighborhood surrounding the property is residential and well maintained. The sidewalks have room for bikes- easy paths.
There is no food, drink or small store on site. Shopping is nearby. The WiFi is TERRIBLE and cable is inconsistent.
It is located off the 10Fwy and there is a train track next to that. Sites along that row are VERY noisy! If you don’t sit outside much it’s no big deal. Sites near the main entrance road are not as loud.
Lastly, the nightly rate is high! And the price may change if additional nights are added. Only Good Sam discount is accepted.
Will I return? YES! Sometimes PLUSH is needed on the road. At the end of the day - It’s Still Camping!

Nice Park
We're still relatively new campers but have stayed here twice now. Plusses are that it's easy and quick to get to all the amenities. If you like golf, even better, there are 4 putting greens and two areas to practice pitching and short game. Minuses, the freeway noise is ever present as are the trains going by but I don't find them that intrusive. We will stay here again for sure.

Still Shaking My Head
Booked three nights here on line but received a phone call the next day telling me we can’t stay in their park because we are driving a truck camper. We just bought a beautiful new Northern Lite camper and a Ford 350 to carry it but it’s not fancy enough to stay in this park. I’m stunned.

Nice But Noisy
Very nicely kept park. Felt secure with nice dog runs. It was very noisy though given proximity to I10 and the frequent freight trains passing closely behind the park. No picnic tables was a surprise also with limited patio space and chairs not allowed on grass. Sprinklers soaked everything we left outside. All that said I still give it 4 stars because it was so well kept

$75
Great peaceful resort. Fantastic neighbors. There is a RV detailing service which is well worth the price.
