Terrific
We lucked into this location when our intended spot did not have vacancy. The park evidently has 2 areas - the main area and then an overflow area that can also accommodate horses. We stayed in the equestrian area. Spaces are mostly level packed dirt/sand, tucked away in between a canyon and the lake. Beautiful and quiet (after the sheriffs leave their shooting range for the night - located a few hundred yards away). We spoke with some of the people managing the park and were told that their lease may expire and the park cease. We hope not, because we will definitely stay here again if possible.

Like Quartzsite with an upgrade
The equestrian loop's dry warm and quiet. Water, elect. and dump station.
We've got 3 bars of Verizon 4G.
Considering that it's blizzarding at home and packed out almost everywhere else across the SW, this place turns out to be quite decent.

Very Nice
We stayed here five nights in March and liked it very much. Nice park. We camped in 44 foot motor home.

Decent Desert Camping
Level enough spots, clean washrooms, warm showers. There is a small grassy area in campground and more grass in the picnic area. Reservoir has terraced edge. The campsites are all gravel with fire pits and picnic tables. The reservable loop has trees. The primitive area is just that. Sand and gravel and a few trees. Nice breeze off the reservoir and lovely sunrise with mountains behind it.

Hidden Gem
Beautiful view of mountains and the lake. No boating allowed though it is stocked with trout. Dirt and limited amenities but a great quiet place to chill.
It's a bit far from the center of things but stores are about a 15 min drive.

Ok. Just dirt parking. Trees are trimmed really short so there is no shade. Equestrian side has full hookups, but no shade and is next to a gun range. RV parking on opposite side has no sewer hookups but there is a dump station on site. Lake is fishing only. Park is nice a green with playground equipment. Pool is closed now but when we went was nice. You have to buy wrist bands at entrace and its only for a 2 hour time period . They do have 3 sessions per day when open. $3 each. Staff was less than helpful with this. When not windy it is calm and peaceful. I understand gun range can be a problem, and loud but we did not have an issue. Went 9/2016
