Not For Us
This expensive park had all but 3 of the worst sites taken by permanent residents. The park is a long way from town and pretty barren. We didn't stay

$40
Spendy & Sketchy
Very no frills place to stay. Often taken over by LONG TERM guests who, because they work for a contractor on VAFB, are given preferential treatment by park rangers and city if Lompoc. Example is these people in their $400k rigs are given exclusive access to RV sites 1-15.
They have also begun charging motorhomes with a Toad or follow vehicle an extra $10 beyond the current $30/night RV sites fees. For us that meant we saved a whole $10/night over a local motel.
Park is pleasant though the park rangers are quite intrusive . Maybe it's because of transients wandering in via river bed or other problematic visitors. We swear one site near us had zero activity during daylight hours but a hundred "visitors" at night. Hmmmmm, when reported to Ranger were told "...if we don't see it, we won't enforce it..."
Last visit new ugly fences were being built w/the sole purpose of stopping guest visitors from parking by a site. Might help during daylight hours.
Only dump station in area.

$200 per week for one RV and one car. Five stars for its affordability.
