Safe And Quiet Spot For The Night
My wife and I stayed here, twice overnight, as we traveled to SoCal for a week and then back through. We stayed in the pull through spot #3...which is full hookups, but only has a 50 Amp plug. You can borrow a 30 to 50 amp adapter from the camp host for a $5 deposit, if you dont have one. TOur host, Debbie, was very friendly and helpful. She greeted us on both visits and was very nice. The beaches on base are pristine but closed April through September for bird breeding...so that was disappointing. Also, the base isnt super active, and the BX, commissary and even the shoppettes close early...so plan your food accordingly. We will definitely stay here again when the beaches are open and maybe see a missle launch!

Parking Lot
Pretty much a parking lot with 20 and 50 amp connections. It's SUPER quiet and there are plenty of squirrels, raccoons, gophers, coyotes, owls, and bats for you to keep busy watching animals!
There are a row of pull through spots of you are lucky to supplant a long termer but that doesn't happen often. The bathrooms are old but clean and the laundry is basically the same.
For $22 a night and the added security of being on base it will do for a few nights.
