Beautiful!
Some spaces are tight and it can be crowded but the trees are amazing and it’s peaceful! It was a bit noisy until 10 pm then very peaceful!

In The Redwoods With 3 Trailheads
If your rig is on the larger side and has multiple or deep slide outs, please let the front desk know when you call. Very important. I would recommend saying your rig is a few feet longer than it is to guarantee easier manuverability in this older but awesome campground. 3 trailheads into the state park right from the campground. This is the only one of the three campgrounds in the area that has this.

Beautiful Location
Beautiful location, next to Henry Cowell Park for beautiful hike. Sites were small but had nice “patio” in back of site, creek at back of site.

Sardined...Get Ready To Get Cramp
So, first I will disclose that I have stated in numerous RV parks across the U.S.
This is by far the tightest quarters ever. What would amount to a single site anywhere else is two sites here. They maximize their profits by minimizing your comfort. It’s too much, and I doubt we will ever go back as a result.
However, the facilities were clean, exceptionally maintained, and the staff was friendly. The grounds did open to the state park. The playground was great for the kids, and the rec room had a variety of games and provided some downtime when the weather turned wet.
The location was a great distance to Santa Cruz.

The park had great hiking trail access. Plenty of shade and quiet park. Great coastal and lake access. Will stay again!
