Great Stop

Great little stop. Easy access off of the freeway. Fit our 36ft and tow easily. The park host was super nice and helpful and we were able to get a 50amp and water site for only $10 using our America the Beautiful National Parks Pass. Most of the sites have a water view. The river is all mud not much to look at though.

Friendly Helpful Hosts, Workers, Guests

Arrived before dark, quick easy self check in. Currently not ACE run but run by town of Mulberry. Will not accept ACE but did except senior golden pass from USNP. Smallish, beautiful treed sites, so nice shade with summery heat. Most are electric, some have water. Rest rooms on timer were rather dark and smelled bad, no showers. Sites near water share water spigot. I was overheated when we arrived and someone brought me a wet towel and cold water! They are hoping to Bring improvements and promote camping. Dumping station available as you exit. Some back in sites overlook water through treed view, a bit uneven so hard to level. I would recommend showers and evening lots. Nice getaway.

Senior

This is a beautiful campground with lots of trees & shade. The sites overlooking the water have electricity & share a water spigot. The camp host, Marilyn, is very nice & helpful. It has been leased from the Army Corp of Engineers by the town of Mulberry & they keep it up nicely. We will stay here again! I will rate this park as a 5*.
