Great Park - Highly Recommend
This park was very well maintained, good space between neighbors, great trails attached to the park for hiking, lots of things to do at the park and the bathrooms were extremely clean and kept up. RV pads are big and very easy to back your RV into. The park ranger is very friendly, he even subbed in for another ranger that was supposed to give our bird watching tour and was really good with our kids! We even spotted a fox in its den on the cliffs by the lake. All the staff are friendly and helpful and we will definitely go back if we are in that area again!

So pretty!!
We stayed a couple of nights at the beginning of November when there was still fall foliage. It was so pretty and clean! The lake is beautiful but you can’t swim or paddle board in it. Cell phone signal was sketchy. We would definitely stay there again. We stayed in site 17. Sites 9, 10, and 11 are pull throughs by the lake.

Excellent
We loved our first stay here. We came mid October and the pool was already closed but it looks super nice. Most of the sites look decently shaded but #25 is complete sun all day! Be advised! Only complaint was people drive a little fast through the park. Bathrooms are super clean and nice. Awesome showers. Sites are well kept and clean. Everyone at the visitor center was super nice and helpful. Definitely go in because they’ve got some cool replicas inside. Will be back for sure!

This place is like a country club, only at state park prices. Everything looks new. The roads are smoothly paved
The sites are paved and nearly level. The grounds are attractive, clean, well maintained, and tidy. Sites are huge and spaced apart, tucked back into the trees giving much privacy. Showers/ bathrooms are sparkling clean and well ventilated. Sadly low on water pressure, though. Swimming pool is large, beautifully furnished and equipped like a private club. Lots of easy to hike trails, particularly handicap accessible. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. ATT service fine. All sites wooded and shady. We stayed in a motorhome with plenty of room. We will happily return.

Great State Park!
Spent one night. Great off season stop, but I am sure it is busy for n season. Very up to date restrooms with showers! Everything very well taken care of. Visitors center has some history stuff for the kids. I am planning on stopping again.

Cleanest And Most Spacious
The shower house was the cleanest we have ever been in! Such a beautiful campground and not crowded even though they were full - sites are nicely spaced. Had a little waterfall run off that the kids played in for hours! The visitors center had a critter crunch - the kids got to feed all their reptiles and spiders. The playground was a little ways from the sites but not bad on the bikes.

One Of The Best State Parks
Stayed at a lot of State Parks and this is one of the best. Great staff at check in, level sites on concrete pads, and good space between sites. Full hookups.
