Out Of The Way Spot

This is no longer maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Local folks are maintaining it now, trying to stay on top of the trash some other people leave. No water, electricity and not sure when toilet house was last cleaned. Looks like it's used mainly as a fishing spot now, but the sites, fire pits, gazebos and picnic tables are still there. There's one permanent camper and a lot of people that came through during the afternoon and evening I was there, but nothing after 9 p.m. Lots of backwoods (but paved) roads to get there and be advised the turn onto the main road for the camp ground is pretty sharp and on a steep decline coming from the east. Its free, wish there was a donation box.
