We were going to trade campgrounds reserved delux camp spot with 50 amp they said it was a back in no problem. They were kind and courteous but the place was a hard no. Our spot was plenty big but it looked liked they put us next to two really dumpy trailers flanking either side. One of them had placed a bunch of their stuff on our picnic table. I thought maybe it was a mistake nope terrible. They even rent out cabins dumpy place. Could see it if you were reall close to the cute historic downtown but no. Anyway we left we asked for a refund I told them t he ground was too uneven, which was also true. They were nice. Not sure if I got my refund yet but the staff was cool.

Enjoyed Our Stay
We stayed 2 nights at RV site. The staff was very nice. The spots were plenty big enough. Quiet. Close to town and other activities. Will definitely go back. Loved all the decorations around.

Not Really Pet Friendly
While this was a clean, decent place to stay for our needs for one night, this place has lots of rules as others have stated. Our biggest complaint is that they don’t allow you to walk your dog anywhere in the RV park. You are supposed to walk them in a wooded area, which was quite a distance from our site. When I walked my dog there, it turned out this was not even their property, but the national forest. So, really, they don’t want your pets on their property. If we come this way again, we will not stay here. We’d suggest you read the attached rules to see if this is the right place for you.

RV Stay
Would not stay again ,we broke down 400 miles away and they would not refund your deposit they offered 6 months credit, we weren't sure we could make it back there on 6 months
Then they put us in a spot that was next to a spot that didn't have hookups and they allowed them to use a generator that was loud. I never heard of that before

Wife and I had only planned to stay 1 week, but had to extend for a total of three weeks. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Sites are decent size. Our site was #13 which was a bit larger corner space. Beautiful view of the pine tree filled hillside. Located on Route 66 between freeway and train tracks but far enough away that the faint sound was actually soothing. Easy in and out of the town of Williams which has a friendly, wholesome environment. Will stay there again. Price above includes weekly discount.

Dust
If you want an RV park with dirt and dust and nitpicky rules - this is your place. Be sure and watch the one way signs and do not stop even at the side of the road to let friends out at their motel room or RV spot. And certainly do not let friends from another spot park in your RV area while they visit.
Most rules we have had during 35 years of RVing.

Only One Time
Found the staff friendly but the guy that owns the place is a smart ass. The place is full of don’t do this signs. Very dusty place and over priced.

Good
Staff was super nice and helpful :). Yes there are dusty roads but if you drive slow everything should be fine. Restrooms are separate little rooms like little normal bathrooms. Stayed there for one night coming from the Grand Canyon NP (1hr away) and heading to Las Vegas the next day. Williams is a cute old little city with the best preserved section of the Route 66. Worth a quick visit and worth the money.

Perfect three day spot! Day at grand canyon and a day in sedona! Park is a great stay with excellent bathroom and showers. Sights are pretty level( could be better). Adequate space. This park is an hour from grand canyon and an hour from sedona...perfect. At $33 its a true value. Town of Williams is minutes away on historical route 66. Food and shopping!

Well let’s just say if you want your RV and everything else cover in dirt then this is your spot! We were only parked for a few minutes when they decided to grate the gravel road right behind our site! The tractor made up to 10 passes back and forth with clouds of fine dirt covering everything! We were the only RV on this row! This had to be the most bone head thing I have ever seen! Do you have no respect for people or there RV’s?
Will never stay in this park again and would advise the same for you if value lungs and your RV!

Nice Stay
Stayed one night in our 42ft 5th wheel. Staff was friendly and personally took us to our pull thru site. Site was a little unlevel. The town of Williams is just down the road and an interesting place to visit, and jump off for the Grand Canyon train. There was a bit of train noise but not bad. Nice stay.

Overnight Stop
We stopped for an overnight stay on the way back to CA. We had sp 23, deluxe pull through. Plenty of space to stay connected to our 30’ travel trailer. Not level but not bad. Close to the trees. Very dusty due to dry warm conditions. Watch for speed bumps. Indoor pool did not use. Nice office with friendly staff. Would stay again.

Love This Park
Our second time here. We love this quiet, peaceful, neat Park surrounded by pines. Yes you can hear trains at night, but track is far enough away, noise will not keep you awake or wake you. Very reasonable pricing, and staff is kind and friendly. We will be back for sure!

Nice Park For First Timers Like Us
We chose Canyon Motel & RV Park, in Williams AZ, for our first trip in our new Class A.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Had reservations for July, but something came up and we cancelled. Their written policy is you forfeit one night's fee but you can use that amount, in full, within 6 months so it worked out well for us.
We had space 34. It's slightly uphill from most of the park, but there are others higher up that are "Premium" spaces. Those appear to be more level, have some trees and wider spaces. Next time I will request one of those.
Check in was easy, and we were led to our space by the security guy in a golf cart. I had no problems with hookups (50 amp, sewer, water, cable TV) even though it was my first time. Everything worked well, though TV reception was just ok.
Leveled our rig with all tires down, but our space sloped. Even their picnic table is tilted.
Great individual locking shower/toilet facilities. Dog walking is in the woods.
We would stay here again.

Came here for grand canyon jump off. Very nice campground and great people, service. We left a night I early cause of snow storm but would stay again. Williams is a nice town to visit. Facilities were clean and well kept and water pressure great in showers. The pool is closed in winter.

Nice Place To Be!
Wide spaces in a woodsy location. Super clean laundry facilities. This place is located just under a mile from the towns center where there are plenty of restaurants and shops-but just far enough to feel like your away. Close to Bearizona and en route to the Grand Canyon south rim entrance (45min drive).

Very friendly and relaxing. Nothing negative to say. Got here at 1:30am after making reservations earlier yesterday, and the staff is very friendly. Not too far away from Williams and other activities that are very family oriented. Would definitely come back again. Thank You Canyon Motel & RV Park for the wonderful stay!!

This was the most classy place we have stayed since traveling in June. Very convenient to get to the Grand Canyon. Only an hour away. They have very classy bathrooms and even have piped in nice music. A very nice outdoor commons area. You hear trains at night but that is the west. The town is walking distance. We saw at 7:30pm an old cowboy shoot out on RT 66 downtown. Worth staying at.
