Great Spot In The Park
Our only complaint was that the showers are a hike from the site. The clerk gave us tokens to operate the showers, but they’re located in the adjacent Mather campground. Other than that, it’s a great location. Walking distance from the south rim, the Village (store, post office, deli, tavern). Site was level enough, bathrooms were clean and warm and the elk wander around like they own the place. Definitely a good place to stay while in the Canyon.

Perfect area for viewing the Grand Canyon. Located just off the Rim trail. The staff not friendly or helpful during check in. The sites themselves are not level. This campground could be really much better if they trained the staff to care about the customer but it’s the Grand Canyon and it’s worth a stay.

Tight Sites
The day we arrived, we were told the showers and laundry were closed due to “water issues.” Guy at front desk was not friendly at all—not sure he should have a job working with the public. Site was small with fairly level concrete pad. We have a 32 ft TT, and supposedly sites can accommodate up to 50 ft campers, but our TT and truck barely fit. Great water pressure, good cable, no park wifi, but our own wifi worked well. Restrooms okay. Just barely able to put out awning due to tree close by. Elk roamed the park, and one camped out in the grass near our site. Located inside Grand Canyon NP, which was biggest positive. Not the most comfortable place we’ve stayed.

Disappointed
When I made my reservation I didn't realize there were two sides to this RV park. Pulling into the park on the left is the nice side. The streets are paved, the sites are paved and it has cable TV connection. I got placed on the right side which is pretty shabby looking, has gravel roads, gravel sites, no cable TV connection, and the restroom/bathhouse is nonfunctional. I really expected better for the money.
