IGreat campsites, a few pull thrus. Since the road up the mountain is 80% paved, more big rigs showing up.
Water, garbage and toilets. $5 a night with senior pass. Great place.

Crazy Camper
This is probably one of the coolest places ever! You're at close to 8000 ft. The sites around the outside are right on a cliff rim overlooking the town of cottonwood az. There are a couple of the sites that allow you to sit at your picnic table and see the red rocks marking the start of Sedona. First come, no reservations. Go during the week, see the stars, and avoid holidays.
No amenities other than vault toilet.

Nice Campground
Separate tent section $7 per night. RV is a lot more. Some sites have electric. Awesome views into the valley. There is no water available. This camp is cheaper than Potato Patch, but it's about 3 miles of dirt road up the mountain and cooler in temperature
