Nice Quiet And Peaceful
Nice well kept campground at 7000’ A Loop for 28 standard sites $14/night and B Loop for 24 Pull Through sites with 30 amp electric at $18/night. Water, composting toilets with motion detector lights and little smell. The entire campground is paved all the way to it.
Low impact trails close by. Oak, Blue Spruce and Ponderosa pines mixed throughout the area.

Great Location To Beat The Heat!
Stayed over a weekend in Aug to beat the heat and had a great time! The shade and breeze felt great even though high was 90F. Kids rode their mountain bikes. Plenty of room for our 33’. Friendly campground manager. FYI, spotty service with Verizon—but good excuse to put the phones down!

Great For Tents
This is camping at 7000 foot elevation and the road to get here is very mountainous with tight curves. It is about 7 miles from Jerome and the roads in Jerome are very tight. I'm not sure an RV would fit through there so you might check before trying. This is on the Mingus Mountain Scenic Highway. The tent sites were very nice and as a car camper I found it very comfortable. It was shady, quiet and private. They do close October 31 for the season.

Right By The Road
Easy to get to. Special tent area. Nice to stay with a motorhome. Not enough shade in the RV section
