One Nighter
Not too bad for a one nighter. Reviews about the quirky sewer set-up are correct. Wi-fi goes in and out (more out than in) and when it is in it's so weak you can't accomplish anything. We reserved site #76 (so when we open our camper door we wouldn't be looking at the backside of our neighbor's camper) but got assigned site #13 after we arrived. Not happy about it but we knew it could/would happen, based on the reservation policy. Expecting the same when we get to Island Retreat RV Park, in Gulf Shores, because of the same reservation policy. The sites here are level and we did use wood under our jack stands (as the policy calls for) but roughly 90% aren't using anything - but whatever. Just trying to abide by the rules. For a 1 night stay - it's OK. For a vacation spot - not even close. But we knew this. It's a sports venue RV parking lot with full hook-ups. Perfect for a stay if some sort of tournament is going on.

Well, sorta disappointed . My site wasn't level. No wifi. Poor Verizon reception. Only here for a night. Large rv park.

Over Night Stay
The main issue I had with the park was how the sewer is situated. Their was no downward floor and that made it hard to dump my tanks. Other than that nice level sites

Book online to avoid the $4 phone fee
Paid $44 per day. Did not accept any discount memberships. Visited in late November with no reservation. Half empty lot. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). We stayed in spot 87. It's a flat, clean, well lit lot. HUGE playground that was just built last year for the kids right next to the RV lot. The power and water are conveniently located in a modern pedestal. The sewer is a little tricky to attach because you park on the asphalt and the sewer is up on the curbed island. So it takes a bit of work to get the required downward slope for gravity to do its job. Most people had something stacked on the asphalt to build up to the level of the curb. Each island has a large trash can. No restaurants, grocery stores or gas stations right next door, but it's only a few minutes to a couple different strip malls. Seems like a very nice area. Hidden phone reservation fee of $4 per day. Book online to avoid that fee.

Parking Lot Perfect
Great spot to stop over while traveling. Clean and level parking with power, water and sewer. Seems like safe location.

We use this RV spot for quick overnight stays between the coast and the mountains The website for online reservations https://www.sunrisereservations.com It’s quick and painless! Our only complaint is the showers are not accessible between 9pm ~ 7am Yes, our RV has a shower but my husband prefers the larger ones on site. It’s very convenient off the interstate.

Different Experience
Cement lot(s) with full hook up. Google the Hoover RV Park and use the online service or pull up and register at the entrance. Many sites right now appear to be used by construction but with over 170 sites there are many available. We choose site 6 as it is close to the Finley Center and RV campers can accessthe center which has restrooms available 6am to 9 pm (when the walking track is available)-it does close on Sundays at 6 pm. The area at the Hoover Metro Center is great for walking and our four legged camper enjoyed our explorations. We were able to access and use the WiFi easily. While not a “campground “ we would not hesitate to return. You are close to Birmingham, easy access to groceries and the nights are very quiet!

Good For A Stopover
This is a large blacktop parking lot with full hookups. All spots are pull through about 45 feet long. The phone number listed rings twice then disconnects. 605-275-1980 is the reservation number and is only answered Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
