Lifesaver

This park is so beautiful and well maintained. Watch wildlife around you. Then go for a picnic and feel alive with the view!

Great location for all of San Juan island activities. Sites are nice and big. Restrooms and showers are good. Only negative is it is very shaded from Giant fir trees all around.

Campground Maintenance

The roads into and out of the camp grounds are not well maintained plus the tree branches on the sides and over of the roads have not been maintained. Driving your RV thru these roads will let the tree branches drag along the sides and top of your RV (not something I want to experience). I drove my car thru the camp ground and elected to not take my RV there. It's really to bad as the area has some first class views of the Islands, boats and sea life. Plus there are numerous trails though out the area and it's alway interesting watching the boats coming and going from the boat launch area.

Beautiful Surroundings

The park is being renovated a little at a time but is still a great place on a hot day with all the shade. Lots of nearby places you must visit if you are a hiker or just like beautiful scenery and water.

Not Bad

The spots are mostly small and the roads are narrow. This is not a park for medium to large RV's. The women's restroom was very nice but the men's was old and still had coin operated shower with cold water. It does have nice trails and a great walking loop. About four miles from town. If you like a lot of shade this place is for you
