Pleasant Stay

Neat campground but some sites. Showers were nice and no longer coin-operated. Good grassy area for picnics or flying kites down by the water. Negative for Washington state parks is the extra fee for out-of-staters when reserving online - not nice.

Small State Park

Full hookup sites 3 and 4 have beautiful bay views and are a bit more $$. The sites are all dirt. Some border a big play field which is nice for groups. Others are forested and a bit more private but no hookups. Cell service great. Camp hosts and park staff very cheerful and helpful. Bathrooms dated and coin op shower but just fine. Park also has cabins. Not much to do, but nice if you just want to hang out.

Nice proximity to Anacortes and surrounding areas, but the view of the oil refinery kinda tarnishes it. Sites very close together, separated by some brush, but you can hear neighbors quite well. Restrooms clean enough, showers coin-op.

Traveling

We enjoyed our stay, appreciated the power and water. Close to LaConner and surrounding area.

Nice Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in 2017. Stayed in one the spots around the grass area. Privacy hedge around our RV was a bonus. Well maintained, Interpretive center nearby, nice biking/walking trails nearby, great access to nearby islands and destinations. We will go back often.

Nice park, nice Ranger

Nice park for an overnight or to go to Friday Harbor on the ferry, great boat trip at a bargain price.
