Beware RV Users
It is extremely hard to get reservations, very few 50amp sites. 30 amp will not be enough if you want more than 1 running AC unit. 2 or more (larger RVs) IS 100% REQUIRED anytime late May to ....... it is early June and it is an unbearable 106F. I'm leaving early. Not worth it. Walking in the river at the Narrows is overly hyped. The mile walk leading to it and the mile back it is enough. Skipping other events- The Wave. Too dangerous.

It Works To See Zion
Had to use south entrance due to rv and the tunnel in the park. Be careful, my waze and RV GPS both routed me the tunnel route, so had to turn around and go through Springdale. That entrance is too commercialized and crowed for my preferences. My campsite was one of 3 in a row parking spaces with 3 more on the other row, all 6 shared a covered area with picnic tables. I was glad I only had one night's stay. I'm disappointed that cars can not take the scenic road, only a shuttle bus. I don't leave my pet alone. I saw enough in one day. I would consider staying here again.

Adventures Await
We got our reservations early and it was worth it! Despite COVID-19, and no park shuttles, it was still close enough to bike up to Zion Lodge to access all the hiking trails. Local shuttle services are available at a cost, but call early to get spots! The campsite is clean, well spaced out and our kids took every advantage to jump in the river after our adventures. The footbridge to the town is easily accessible for coffee, outdoor rentals, a market and ice cream!

Score
Randomly checked recreation.gov for a few days and managed to score a weekend stay on the same spot fri-sun only a week in advance in peak season! Price is right, $30 for electric huge space very convenient walk to shuttles/visitors center & on the river. Very beautiful views & sunset. Don’t understand why they don’t have showers, even token ones. 1 star off for the lack of showers. Otherwise clean & great!

Amazing Time
My favorite stop of our two week national park tour! Beautiful campground, lots of hiking, deer came through every day, river was cold but fun for the kids and dog to play in. No showers but nice restrooms and water readily available throughout the park. Town of Springdale literally right past the gate if you need groceries or coffee or firewood. Spent two nights here but wish we had a week. Book early!

Great Place
This is a very nice place to stay. Obviously, it’s very popular, and after staying here I see why. The views, especially in the morning, are epic, and there’s a foot bridge over to the town of Springdale, which has your cafes, brew pubs, and various other shops. The Visitor Center and park bus stop are a short walk away. It’s a quiet campground, and everyone was respectful and courteous. The rangers who worked there especially. There are no showers in the campground, but the bathrooms were very clean. The AT&T cell service isn’t great, but it exists. Go to Oscar’s for breakfast before you go on a big hike.

Beautiful place, somewhat rude or indifferent camp host and kiosk staff. We would have stayed longer but no sites were available, lots of people
