Really nice campground. Quiet, tiny roads and spaces along the water I've seen seasoned pros have difficulty. When it rains it does have flooding issues around the 40 loop. Rude fishermen walk right into our campsite ARG

Beautiful Campground!
This is a beautiful Army Corps of Engineers campground on The Old Hickory Lake and Cumberland River. The front gate is a tad narrow for the bigger rigs all having to make a sharp left turn into the park from the main road. Swing wide, it can be done! We are pulling a 30 ft. Fifth-wheel and had no difficulty. Streets are asphalt and so are the sites. Sites are level. Water and 50 amp electric was on our site. Lots of trees on the property make for nice shade. Shower/restroom facilities are very clean. A nice large beach is just outside the camping area as well as a boat launch. Nearby Cedar Creek Marina (you will pass upon entering and exiting the campground) offers kayak and pontoon rentals. The Marina also has a bar and grill with live music. We will stay here again! Staff at the front gate was friendly. We had a peaceful, relaxing 3-night stay and it is close to the Nashville attractions.
