Awesome little gem. Grounds are well kept and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Only reason I gave a 4 star was no pool. It's a beautiful place near Nashville

Very First RV Resort Stay
This was our first stay in an RV Resort. Extremely helpful staff, they took us to our spot and showed us how to get all hooked up! Dinner was delicious and the live music on the back patio was very nice! Hope the rest of our trip goes this well!

Well kept grounds with a nice lot. Quiet and shady spots. Live music every night during peak season.

Very clean park and super nice staff. Were led to our campsite and staff made sure we had what we needed. Showers are very clean. Trains close by but barely heard them. The spaces are tight. Would definitely come back!

Great friendly people. Good live music and food. Some spaces are a bit tight but nice. Very clean park. There is frequent train traffic. We slept right through them. If you like to train spot, this is the place. They were only a minor inconvenience. We stayed a week.We will be back if we pass through again.

This park is the best. The folks that own the place are great. Super friendly and make you feel at home like family. They have live music and home cooked meals at night. This will definitely be our go to spot when we are in Nashville!

Mixed reviews with this campground
We only stayed one night.
Spaces were pretty tight but we got lucky with a more spacious site. Staff was incredibly friendly and we enjoyed the live music on Saturday night, however, there isn’t a lot of room in the tiny restaurant/office/camp store that they hold it in. Absolutely nothing to do for kids as the playground is very dated, no pool and gravel roads.
The noise of the constant trains was a little much as well

This was our first stop on the road and I couldn’t have asked for any more. The family who runs this park are so sweet and helpful. We planned to stay 2 nights and finally packed up and left after our 5th night because we enjoyed it so much. Tommy helped me replace our water hookup and made sure our sewer hookup was working properly. Breakfast is served from 8-10 every morning and supper in the evening. Always great food and a smile when you walk in the door. Thank you Cunningham’s for a wonderful time.

Agree With Misled
Mislead hit the nail on the head. When we were ready to pull out no dumpster could be found. Had to take our trash with us. Sites were muddy.
Reply from owner/manager: I am so sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to make every guest have the best possible experience. Our dumpster is located behind our office and is also noted on our site map. We are all here to help and to make your experience the best possible. Thank you for taking the time to review our park - we will make sure all guests are aware of the dumpster location in the future.

Great Fun But Not Fancy!
Rainy and cold when we arrived but staff not only led us to our site but hooked it all up! Couldn’t ask for nicer people. The site wasn’t real spacious but big enough. Went to lodge to eat and were entertained with a great CW band. Best homemade chicken noodle soup ever! Really talented folks in the band with a fiddle-playing gal who Buck danced like crazy. Will stay again if we are in Nashville area.
Reply from owner/manager: Dee, thank you for your review. Hope to see you again soon.

Nice RV Park
Very nice hosts who helped us to campsite and helped us back in. The campsite was pretty tight but had a lot of area in the rear that you could set up chairs, tables, grills etc. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment and breakfast in the lodge. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff but loud trains!
the staff was wonderful and the camp grounds were clean but the train runs constantly. Had to keep the a/c on all the time in order to get any sleep. Close to Nashville and they have music every night. Okay for a short stay but probably would not return

I'm not sure why there are so many great reviews. I booked based on the reviews and feel pretty misled. The people may be great, I wouldn't know, was led to my site, asked for wood for which i paid $15 for 15 pieces of wood, supposedly 3 bundles. I've never been in a tighter campground. Our site faced the trailer next to us which made for awkward morning coffee drinking. We both could not have our awnings out at the same time, there was no room. Our site was about 30 feet from a main road, anyone could have walked into the property never mind the road noise, it's a major road. In addition to that a train passes through pretty frequently. I guess we got the "better" site by the road, at least the car traffic lessens overnight, can't say the same about the train, runs all night. If you are only using your camper as a hotel room and don't plan on spending alot if time there it will be fine. The location is convenient to downtown Nashville as well as the Grand Ole Opry.

Nice family place.
From the time we pulled in, these we're nicest people we've met during our travels. Very accommodating and welcoming. Enjoyed our conversations in the store. Wonderful clean restrooms, washers and dryers. Everything was perfect from setting up on a level pad until we left. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here Feb 5 th. 1 st stop on our way to Florida. People here could not be even been more nice. Since we were not dewinterized yet they placed us up right next to the restrooms. Thank you Tammy. We didn’t get to see the live music as we got up the next day and headed south. May stay here on our way home.

Great campground, great staff! Had a great breakfast today with a special touch...my morning "cup of Joe". As in Joe Bonamassa! Awesome that we could listen to our favorite blues guitarist, with our breakfast chef who played our favorite songs during our meal!

5 stars are not enough! Myself, my husband, our two kids and our dog were stuck on the side of I-40 with our truck broke down. We called the campground to let them know we couldn't make it for check in. The owner, Mr. Tommy drove an hour in his truck to pick us up. He towed our camper in freezing temperatures that night so we could stay warm and be safe. My daughter got the flu, so Mr. Tommy stepped up again and gave a vehicle to go to a clinic nearby. When we left the campground I felt like I was leaving family. I would stay again and again. I can't tell you enough how wonderful this family is and how they welcome you. I know there are lots of choices in the area but I promise you will be overwhelmed with their kindness.

Yes this park is tight but, the people are so nice and friendly! When we checked in we were cold and anxious to plug in for heat. They greeted us with warm cookies. Absolutely made our day! We'll be coming here as much as we can!

Staff was very friendly on the phone when making the reservation and were even more friendly in person. When we called the after hours phone number (8:45pm) Tommy Sr. Came in about 15 min and solved our electrical problem with 2 adapters he let us borrow (trusting we turned them in when we left). Very clean bathrooms and everything was well lit. They gave us directions and suggestions of what to explore in Nashville when we left. We will be returning because the staff was so great!!!

We stayed here for 1 night to test out our new camper. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Campsites are very close to each other but otherwise a great value for the price. We didn’t eat at the store or use the bathroom so cannot comment on those.

Above The Rest
Staff went above and beyond what anyone would have expected. Rained cats and dogs three hours before our departure time, small lakes everywhere. The staff came by dressed in rubber boots, wading through the ankle deep water and help unhook my services.
There was live music the three nights we were there, very entertaining.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner served in their little store.
Staff couldn't have been better.
We will stay here again.

One of the most friendly run campgrounds we have experienced. Nice little cafe. Not that far from Opryland. Only issue is the train tracks run right next to the property. Nevertheless, we would stay here again.

Tight Spots And Loud Train
The spots are really crowded. Probably the closest we have every been to a neighbor. We were on the other side of the park from the trains but heard them loud and clear. I can imagine what the campers by the train went through!
Friendly staff and nice area but not crazy about the park itself.
$75 for two nights

Be careful....rates and discounts quoted over the phone are not honored upon arrival. Also note that if you request a 30-amp and they choose to place you in a 30/50 amp spot....you will be charged the 50-ampere rate, regardless if you are only connected to 30-amp. Trains go by at fast speeds and are very loud. We counted 14 trains whipping through the park from 10pm-6am. Horrible night of sleep. The only positive...the two people that drove the golf cart to assist when we got there we're extremely nice. 1 star for the trains and an extra star for the nice staff. No stars for the quote fiasco.

Least Expensive & Nicest In Nashville
Very welcoming family-run park, not too far from all the Nashville things to do. It is certainly less expensive than all the other parks. The main house has a cafe, store, ice cream, DVD rentals, and music most nights of the week. They refill propane and sell firewood. The store is open fairly late compared to most campgrounds.
Spots are gravel and grass, fairly level and come with picnic table. They have all size lengths to fit any size rig and tow. They will help you park once you get checked in to be sure your site has what you need. They brought more gravel in after a rainstorm washed out a lot of entryways, so they are very attentative.
You'll find some of the family on the porch rocking chairs throughout the day so they are easily accessible if you need anything.
There are train tracks next to the park and there are about 10 trains a day. But they don't blow horns so you don't notice them as much, especially if you're parked on the other side of the park.
