camping
first time in this area the site I'm on very unlevel hate the dirt roads dusty. The park is spread .So you can rent a golf cart. Very little parking for that reason . For auto.Even at the check in station.

Disabled (Veteran)
Made a reservation at Drummer Boy for 2 weeks ($882) pulled in and we were way down in the back of the park. I walked down to the spot and there were 2 things that would not work for our family. One being the barn with rusty tires, etc setting around. And more importantly too far for my husband to navigate in the 95+ heat. Received out receipt with my complaint and "to far for husband on motorized scooter" written with motorized underlinded. How dare you do that. My husband is a disabled vet and you have not walked in his shoes. You do nor made any effort to ask why but passed judgement on to him. We called the campground we usually stay at and they were glad to accommodate my husbamd close to activities so he could enjoy his grandchildren but you would not give us a refund. Moved us to a front spot for a week but we had to move because 'the campground was full in the front." Ask to be notified if thing came back open. Never heard even though front empty after 2 days.

Won’t Be Going Bad
We stayed at this campground memorial day weekend and it was not a pleasant trip. Our campsite was on the Route 15 side and all we heard was traffic all day and all night. We actually left a day earlier so we could get a good night sleep. I would not recommend staying on the route 15 side otherwise it’s a very nice campground. We will not be going back.

Nice campground. Friendly staff. We stayed in the back off the campground and there was road noise during the day but not to bad at night. I recommend a golf cart if you stay in the back as it is about a mile from the camp store.

Had a rig problem when setting up camp. Caught a park maintenance guy in the area and he stopped what he was doing to go get some screws and help me fix the problem right away. Love that customer suppport! Nice shady site with plenty of room
