We loved the place will camp again early Enters to the park and discount prices on park tickets we love that we stay to the end when park close and don't have to fight traffic

Not a Typical Campground

This is a VERY clean and well maintained campground in an amazing location. Not only is it right on the shores of Lake Erie but it’s walking distance to Cedar Point, Cedar Shores waterpark and the boardwalk/beach. With all that comes at a price though. We paid ~ $125/night for a full hookup site. The only downsides, outside of price, are there are no fire rings and bicycles are not allowed. That second one seemed very odd to us. I’m sure it’s a safety thing and they do have shuttles, but we’ve never not been able to get around a campground on our bikes.

Our Family Loves Lighthouse Point

We have stayed here twice, and will be back again. Campground is right on the lake and on Cedar Point property. The kids love the campground pool and the fact that you can see/hear the roller coasters, train, etc. Campground is way less expensive than other options in the area. It's more than your typical campground, but you are paying for the location and early access into the park.

Lighthouse Campground

Very nice campground. The sites are paved and level. You can walk to the park, but they have a shuttle service. The bathhouses are very nice. The pool area is also great. The only complaint would be the price. 116 for a standard site. You do have to consider that you get early park entry and free parking. You also have a great view of the nightly fireworks.

Clean, level sites. Close to the amusement park. The check in staff wasn't overly helpful. Still, I would stay here again.

Very nice

We used this place which was great for the park, sites we very close together, but there was a convenience store on site which was great. Pool was awesome. Great place. Showers were average at best though...
