Glacial Grooves
We stayed for two nights while checking out the Kelley’s Island grooves. Camp sites are close together in parts of the park, but campers were mostly friendly and quiet. One barking dog, otherwise really nice!

East Harbor State Paek
This is one of the nicest State Parks in Ohio. Stayed here several times and always enjoyed this park. Close to Lake Erie, Ceder Point, Marblehead light house and many other sites. Good value,we had a electric only site and it was inexpensive compared to other campgrounds in the area. Dump station with potable water in the park. Sites can be close together but not really bad. Overall a nice place and we will be back.

Enjoyable Stay
We camped here in early June during the week. We parked our van camper on a cul-de-sac backing up to the lake, section C. The restrooms were very clean and newer, though one morning a water snake slithered its way into the showers. Conveniently located. It was not crowded at all. What I didn't like was that most of the spaces seemed small and closely spaced, barely room for your RV and the picnic table. The lots at the end of the cul-de-sacs were more spacious and private with some trees and brush. We would go back provided we could get one of those spaces.

Big Water Getaway
Stayed in "C" loop, not much shade. Sites can be tight depending on which one you are in. The central shower house is adequate but the newer one behind the pull thru sites is very nice and not very busy. The beach is very nice but far, for most people, and would need to drive if not ride their bike. Lots of activities to do: yoga on the beach Tues, Thurs & Sat, kids craft, ranger talk at nature center, outdoor movie along with regular state park activities. The volunteer/camp hosts are awesome and are above and beyond any we have encountered before. On account there isn't much shade, I give it 4 stars but I'm sure if we were in "B" loop it would be a different story. We will be back!

Close To Cedar Point
This is A massive state park that offers full hookup and lots of shoreline. The laundry room is a plus. They also have a huge store that sells anything you may have forgot and also sells Toft's hand dipped ice cream. The arcade and nature center is A plus. There is also glacier groves on site. We plan on coming back annually.
