Overnight Stay
Stopped here on our way through to the coast for the night. Beautiful park had I realized we would’ve stayed more days. Nice large camping areas you’re not crowded together. Host were very nice and helpful. Level spots. Lots of things to do for families, bike trails, soft golf Large park. Would definitely stay here again.

GREAT CAMPGROUND
I almost don’t wanna give away this gem. It’s a county park but is fantastic. Sites are nice some may require leveling a bit but just a great place with access to a fantastic park!

This is our fifth stay here over the past few years and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. Sometimes staying several days at a time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Some sites not so level but manageable. Highly recommend it. The main problem is that they close in December and reopen in March. They should stay open all year. We enjoy vesting family and friends here especially around the holidays. I think it would increase their revenue and benefit fall and winter travelers.

Beautiful Park, Nice bike Trails
We stayed for one night on our way back home. Front staff and site host was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the paved bike trail and the mountain bike trails. The bath house is clean, but dated.Showers lack privacy because there are 3 separate stalls
In the women’s but a common changing area. Many of the sites are not level. Harris Teeter is right across the street from the RV park area(separated by a field). We rode our bikes with our kids over to get a few supplies, but it is also very walkable with sidewalks and crossing area. Would stay here again.

Great Park Near Winston Salem
Second stay here. Nice paved sites, spacious too. Bathhouses are a bit dated, but always very clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff. Tanglewood park has playgrounds for the kids and campground reservation gets you in for free. Convenient to Hanes Mall, Old Salem and downtown Winston Salem. Always plenty to do. Recommend Camel city bbq for families, head upstairs grab a booth and leave time to hit the arcade.

Fantastic RV Park!
This park is absolutely beautiful. The dog park is huge. The internet & cable work great. We stayed during the Festival of Lights (also a must see) which came with a free pass to tour the festival. We will be back!

What a great park, the sites are good size and great hiking, mountain biking and the dog park is 5 bones out of 5. If you are in this area this is a must stop. We have been here twice and will be back

Beautiful park, terrific walking trails. Really enjoyed our stay. Only regret, no campfires on site. Stayed here 45 years ago and have enjoyed it several times since. A keeper!

Great overall Park. The staff are all very helpful and appreciate the customers. We had a minor problem with electric which the camp host had maintenance handle quickly. The massive oaks are amazing with plentiful shade.

Electric Kept Going Off.....
We have not had electric stay on for very long! We have NO wifi signal but at other sites we were able to find a signal! I can't recommend this park! I wish I could it has a nice bike path( 1.75 miles) but nothing is good without electric!

Great Park Near The City
Stayed there in Nov 2016 with Piedmont WBCCI Group. The weather was clear and cold nights. The Tanglewood Park is a great place to be.
Lots of walking trails, and a nice dog park. Their are 2 golf courses on site as well. We play the championship course and is was real nice at 25 bucks.
Some of the spaces have a good front to back slope. I tried to show them on the map uploaded.

Beautiful Park
Beautiful shady site with great view of trees and rolling hills. Dog park very popular. Nice farmers market on Sat. am. Fabulous walking trails. Need a car to get to nice driving range. Played 3 par golf course which was barely ok. Loads of weeds on the greens. Park close to Harris Teeter grocery which is fabulous and a few very good restaurants. Great value $33 night.

Nice
No tents or fires at the site but you get all the amenities of Tanglewood at a discounted rate. We enjoy it there.
