Not bad, wish it was Better.
We've come to this park half a dozen times now. We like it but it needs a lot of work. If they would just do some improvments it could be a 5 star place. The sites are very small it seems that no matter what size rig I bring they always just barely give me enough space. This last time I brought a 28 ft. Travel trailer. The site left my back end hanging off a steep hill. I couldn't use my rear stablizers. There was no room for my truck in the front. I had to park it in the space next to me. Thankfully that person never showed up but I had to stay close by just in case they did and I would have moved. I've never seen the bumper boats in service. The hill slides were only in operation once and my wife and son got injured on them. The local full time residence aren't mean but you can tell many of them think they own the place and that you are an intruder. The customer service has improved at our last visit. We will likely continue comeing here but will keep an eye out for a better place.

Not Five Star, But Decent
The recent one star reviews of this cite are vicious and unjust. Lake Myers RV may not deserve to wear the title "Resort", but it is clean and well-organized. The full-timers were friendly and their RVs were well-kept. They apparently only offer 30 amp hook-ups, but they made that clear on the reservation page. We made our reservation, then read those mean two recent reviews. We worried for three hours (the office never answered the phone - one really bad thing!), but when we arrived, we were relieved to find almost all the negative comments were untrue. We will stay there again.

Went there yesterday to check the place out. All what people are saying is true, you can tell this was a nice camp at one time. Too many full timers makes the place looks like a very trashed trailer park, what spots are left are not worth trying get your rig into. They need do a reset on the whole camp and get rid of the junky fulltime trailers. The camp could be a five star with some hard work and good investors. Sorry we are passing on staying there.

Place is a major dump all the infrastructure is inadequate ill maintained and overloaded , the roads are narrow and in poor condition the sites are narrow small and purely dirt that picnic tables are rotted from 30 years of never been replaced your sewer is a 55 gallon drum buried in the ground that overflows most of the time water pressure is low and they constantly have water breaks the buildings are in poor condition most of the attractions are long gone and taken down or closed due to the lack of maintenance currently the pools are ring staying closed because they do not want to have to abide by strict sanitary codes they're going to be closed for the foreseeable able future as of 6 1 2020 the company that bought it out a couple years ago Encore hasn't spent a dime to do any repairs or maintenance I highly recommend you avoid this place 85% of it is seasonal permanent campers and their campers are in very old in disrepair it's a glorified trailer park

Ok For A First Experience
Pros: Large pool was nice, Site was very shaded and cool, Bath houses in the D section were clean, The girl working the gate was very nice, Cable tv hookup
Cons: Roads very narrow with a lot of cars sticking out into the paths, Not enough chairs by the lower pool, At least 85% of the campground is permanent sites so the residents near our site were not very approachable and did not speak, No staff offered/were available to help first-timers to the site
I probably would not return due to the close quarters of the sites. We were lucky this time to be placed in an end-spot without a neighbor so we could just pull our 5th wheel through. Majority of the sites we saw had awnings touching the camper next to them, with no space to move around. I definitely would not recommend this place to those with larger RV's but it's good for smaller ones and pop-ups.

It Could Be Good
This place was probably good once. It's a nice area and the facilities have the potential to be great. The campgrounds are suffering from years of managerial neglect. As noted in other reviews, don't trust the pictures. They were taken when the campsite was better maintained. My family stayed there for Memorial day Weekend -- the opening of camping season. If ever there was a weekend to have the place in top shape, this was it. The roads are in bad shape, the putt putt course is run down, the "water boggon" was not working, and navigating through the tight campground with a RV in tow was an exercise in anxiety. We won't be going back.

Mixed Review
Staff were very friendly and caring. Amenities were old but ok and bingo was fun. Sites are extremely tiny and roads are very narrow. The campground is mostly full of long term campers and they are proud of their golf carts that they drive around endlessly. They didn't bother me much but I can see how some would find it annoying. Overall it was ok but I think it has the potential to be a lot better with a reconfiguration of the sites.

Clean Family Fun
We always enjoy our trips to Lake Myers!
-perks: clean, affordable, huge pools, nice security, good cafe, fun BINGO!
- negatives: the giant water boggin slide is VERY unsafe and needs to be sealed. Many riders every day walk away banged, bloody and bruised. TIGHT. Phew! The roads are narrow and the spaces are TINY! Many amenities photographed are no longer in service: bumper boats is gone and mini golf has been reduced in size and beauty.
This place simply needs some good management that spends a lot of time with UPKEEP and maintenance of the facilities they have to offer.
