This Road Is Not For Long Camper
We drove in to explore and want to emphasize that the road in is not for long campers. It is a beautiful spot to camp with no electricity. There are toilets.

Hidden Gem
6 miles off hwy, twisty tiny road, class b or smaller is best. Lots of sites when we went, 5 dollar fee. Quiet, secluded. Great sunrise. Pick a site with a view.

NOT FOR LARGE RV/TRAILERS
We arrived to discover that only vehicles 23 feet or smaller can fit down the road past the entrance. We turned around (barely) at the entrance (40ft RV and 15ft trailer).
So basically nothing bigger than a pickup truck. Too bad, all the reviews made it sound like a great place.

Great Views
This is one of the best campground I stayed at in New Mexico. The view and sunset were awesome. Loved the site. Don't know if all sites have a good view so be sure to drive around first.

Great Place
Been here 3 times. Great views. Quiet. Only been there on weekdays, but not crowded at all. Easy access to Las Cruces. Only vault toilets, but clean. Even in summer cools by late afternoon and lovely overnight.

Good Stop
Great camping spots next to a gorgeous mountain range. Close to white sands if you don't make it to the visitors center by 7 for a pass like us. Far off the highway didn't hear any traffic ! Bathrooms only no sinks or showers close by that I saw.
