Tried to stay here overnight on the way west. Wouldn't take us for one night. Stated they require a two night minimum.

Found this of the beaten track RV Park nestled in the hills at the foot of Cooks Peak.
A friendly community, lots of activities pitch in Friday, bingo, music and more. It is surrounded by many historical sites, one being the museum in Demming well worth the visit.
Would definitely think about staying here again.

Wonderful Place!!
We just spent longer here than we originally anticipated with our truck's transmission needing work. We have been full time living in RV parks across the whole country from August until November (now) and this by far has been the most caring community we have come across! Lots to do with the petroglyphs nearby, ATV riding, gorgeous night skies, owner has some cows and horses to look at. There was a library where you can exchange books & some movies to watch. While we were there: Tuesday was line dancing, Wednesday was Bible study, Thursday was Bingo, and Friday was pot luck day. You can come to all or pick and choose what you want to join in on! Or just enjoy the quiet desert with miles of trails! If you're anywhere near this place, add it to your destination for sure! There is a dirt road that leads to this 'hidden' Valley, but it's worth it persevere!
