We stayed overnight on a weeknight at Weko Beach Campground last week at Site 58. It was a very large space and could’ve easily accommodated a bigger rig (we had a 24’ Class C). It was also very level, and surrounded by beautiful woods.
This campground was FABULOUS! It can be a bit tricky to get to your site as most (not all) are at the bottom of a steep hill. It is a dirt road, but totally worth it!
The sites provide electric & water. There is a dump station at the top of the hill. There are restrooms and showers in the middle of this small campground, which you have to have a code to get into (not open to the public beach goers).
The beach is across the parking lot right next to the campground, and there is a boardwalk to take you over the dunes to the parking lot so you don’t have to walk on the road to the parking lot. All super close!
My kids LOVED being right next to Lake Michigan. It was magical!

Beware!!!
The sites are not full hookup, only electric and water. Normally not a problem but it's clear that people empty their black tanks right on the ground. The smell is disgusting and on top of that, it's a mud pit. There is no grass on any of the east campsites but grass/greenery EVERYWHERE else. Firepit can be placed anywhere on the campsite but they certainly don't clean up.

Great Location
Pretty laidback city campground. W/E sites are all back in and packed like sardines. There is No Turnaround at the East or West sections. They are $30. The electric only section does circle out and offers slightly more room for most sites. Verizon cell service was terrible. It showed a camera WiFi but we never got it to work. The beach is beautiful.
