Would Go Back!
Nice place. All decked out for Halloween. Friendly staff. Washrooms/showers outdated but very clean. Found us a site last minute. Will stay again if we're back this way

Nice Place
Some sites in the older part are very tight and close to each other. We were happy to have another spot. Bathrooms are not really nice. Pool was quite dirty the other day. Good connection to the city, no loud noise although on highway.
It's OK to stop there while traveling through the area but not for a longer stay. Staff was friendly and helpful

Good And Bad
Our first site, #27, was not at all what we were looking for. It's a pull-through site, and the next site over pulls in from the opposite direction. That means the two sites share a common area with 2 picnic tables and 2 fire rings. That would be great if you were camping with your neighbors. In our case, it made for an awkward time. We were sitting at our camper directly in front of the door into our neighboring camper. We didn't feel like we could enjoy sitting by the campfire.
After night one, we asked to change to a different site. We were able to move to 248 and pay the difference for the remainder of our stay. This site was so much better. We could sit by the fire without feeling like we were on top of anyone else. This site was level (mostly), spacious, and quiet. If you're thinking of staying here, definitely pick the sites closer to the road.
One negative was probably not the campground's issue. We noticed an odor to the water. Bad a couple days, but not every day.

Stayed here in a MH over Memorial Day weekend. Very nice park, a little tight on the spaces. Two lakes and lots of open spaces. Got the dog off leash many times. She loved it.Took train into Chicago four days, great city, lots to do. Attended a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, AWESOME!!! A bit far from Chicago but not too bad. Would definitely recommend.

CONVENIENT
If you're planning a visit to Indiana Dunes NP or a quick trip to explore Chicago, this park will meet your needs. The park is divided into two sections, with the front being the newest & offering the best options for PT/BI on gravel that are spacious enough for any sized motorhome. The sites in this area have picnic tables & fire rings on a cemet pad. The RV park is nicely maintained & gated. We walked the property many nights & enjoyed the various ponds with wildlife. The RV park is convenient to the Interstate, however it's tucked away in a rural part of the town, amongst many farms. The staff is friendly & the facilities are adequate for a short term or extended stay offering a pool, playground, laundry, bathroom & a dog park.

Top Notch Campground
Many great things to say about this campground. Good location, good wifi, nice workers, well maintained, nice pool, playground and laundry facilities. Our site was wonderful and neighbors were great. We look forward to coming back here.

Traveler Powerlines
I would highly recommend finding another campground to stay they know you make good money and they try to cheat you out of money and call you a liar when you tell them about it . It’s way to high for what they have there anyways.. I would camp at a garbage dump before staying there if I was a traveler and work on the road besides they banned me from staying there because I proved they was wrong when I left a month earlier so stay but BE WARE OFWHATIM TELLING YOU !!!!!!

FANTASTIC CAMP!!!
I was compelled to write a review of this camp because it was so wonderful. First off the staff was so accommodating and pleasant and efficient. The camp is quiet as could be, only the sound of crickets in the beautiful trees surrounding... wonderful playground to run out the kiddos... didn’t use the pool but looks beautiful... beautiful, peaceful, and easy overall... great food delivery options if you don’t feel like cooking... we were in pull thru full hook up site 59 and I highly recommend that area (behind the office, by the huge lawn and playground) especially if you have kids. We had no reason to be in that area (just driving through) but we almost added an extra night just to enjoy the campgrounds. We’d go out of our way to stay there again.

Friendly And Cozy
Sites are rather teeny, but the staff is incredibly friendly. The facilities and grounds were all immaculate. A lot of seasonal campers. We did rebook for autumn return trip to explore area a little more.

We spent three nights here and the park was fine, we did get awakened about 6:45 every morning by a barking dog, they allowed tent camping and the dog was tied outside. It was a little pricey but was completely full. A few miles from amenities.

Depends On Site
Owners and staff very helpful. Our first site was on enough of an incline that I could not level. (First trip and I didn’t have ramps along, and it was too much incline for my Auto levelers) staff moved me to another site that was very level. Bonus was that first site was between two semi permanent rigs that were very close... and on one side, they smoked outside, which wafted into our space. Second site was second to last in a row, and the last site was unoccupied until almost 8pm. We could sit outside and had a lovely view. It’s not a place to go for a destination, but a convenient stopover: great! Ask about site location and try to get in area with more turnover. I respect folks who are there to work and are living in their trailers. But the rhythm of daily life doesn’t match well with the rhythm of vacation.

Overnight
Location is great for traveling, stayed one night was very happy, clean and well cared for rv sites. Pricey but location makes up for it. Believe 1/2 sites are permanent. A little road noise in morning.

Perfect On A Hot Day
The pool was great and well maintained. Nice playground for the littles. Laundry room was well equipped with regular size washers as well as large capacity ones. Dryers run a little long. Didn’t use the store. Bathrooms were serviceable but in need of an update. Site levelness varied by location. Many seasonals onsite with lovely site decor. Everyone was very nice. Close to Indiana Dunes State Park (beaches) and National Parks (hiking).

First Time Campers
We have been tent camping tons of times but this was our first time pulling a camper and doing hook ups. This spot was great for this. Easy access. Easy hook ups. Pull through spot. A little tight but perfect for a one night stop. We have two big dogs so the dog park was sooo amazing for them to get our and stretch their legs!!

Overnight Pull Through
Friendly staff with a beautiful dog who is apparently the camp mascot. Lots a bit tight but otherwise very pleasant overnight stay. Even roasted marshmallows over a fire pit with the kids.

We like staying here when we visit family in the area. It’s clean & quiet with a nice pool and playground. The owners & employees are always friendly. Very convenient to the beach and outlet shopping.

Meh
Nice grounds below at premium cites. Long way from there to showers out of a history book. Expensive for what is offered.

This campground had a nice pool, clean bathrooms, good playground, and a very clean laundry room. Pool was advertised as heated but was very cold. Owners were very nice and helpful. Sites were tight and campground had a lot of permanent campers. The campground was gated which made me feel very safe. The campground was very easy to find and about a 10 minute drive to Washington park.

Overnight Stay
We stopped for one night while traveling through Indiana. Pull-thrus are tight but well worked fine for one night. There is a nice playground and pool, as well as a dog exercise area. There was a lot of people there with small kids, lots of hanging out and a good atmosphere. I would definitely stop again for overnight but would want a better site if staying longer.

Well Maintained
We stayed 1 night in April. Little pricey for it being the winter time, but well maintained. This would be a great for families with kids in the summer time, due to the pool and park. We would stay again.

Nice Spot In The Cold
Stayed one night in January. We were the only transients that night. Lots of long term campers, but it was very quiet and neat. I would stay again.
