As The Name Implies
This place should be your last resort for a place to stay for the night. This is a weekend place for a lot of people that want a wood fire and drink beer. The whole place smelled like an outdoor fire pit. The dirt roads and dirt pads hold water when raining. Had to borrow a log to access my door to keep out of the mud puddle. Will not return.

Looks Like A Fun Seasonal Campground
We just stayed for a one nighter but if we were looking for a seasonal getaway we would definitely consider this one! Great one night stay. Very accommodating. Nice staff. Reasonably priced.

Should Have Kept Looking
After the owner tried to squeeze us into a site where we would hang out in the road, he relented and gave us a space on the other side of the lake. Only after implying It was my driving abilities that wouldn’t get me in the space. Not a nice way to treat a customer.
There are mostly permanent residents. The area near the office building had junk laying around. Too many noisy people with little regard for their neighbors. All in all, not a place we’d stay again.

Not My Kind Of Place
The owners are very nice and friendly people. We stayed here for a week for our summer vacation. The few sites they have for travelers are small and tight and right on top of your neighbors. Better hope they dont have gas.. lol. It is full of full timers that ride there golf carts around drinking beer and playing loud music. In the center of the camp ground they set out a stereo with loud speakers with the music thumping till way past 11pm. If you like quite nights stay away.

Nice Camp Ground
This was our first time camping and the owners were very helpful. They even brought us a water hose when ours wasn't long enough great people. We had a great time and have already booked another weekend.

north indiana in winter
gravel road but only campground i found that still had water on in December. Fishing lake looks good. pool nice and has adults only hours. Nice couple owning and running place. Would stay here over and over again. Use my Passport America but good place even without discount. Try the AR-15 Coffee

Spent 2 days here and had a nice stay. I needed a tool to get unhooked. The proprietor was kind enough to let me borrow from him. Wife and I had an enjoyable time in the pool. I'll come back again.

Not Our Last Resort
My husband and I drove from Texas ready to settle for an undetermined amount of time with a one week minimum ... wanted a 50 amp full package set up ... made the phone calls to inquire and then to confirm that they had openings with our needs etc. - no reservation needed upon our confirmation call. Upon arrival we were told they had only three openings - did not have the set ups she stated were 'plentiful' over the phone both times. The kicker - it was Saturday afternoon and there were numerous, vacant, very nice areas - suddenly not available. She 'suggested' we had not called - my husband proved otherwise - she said that's all we have available at this time. We did not appreciate the intentional misleading or the sudden change in availability, which ever the case - it was not our last resort. We found a very nice park/campground closer to my husbands work on short notice. Never settle for poor treatment.
