Excellent
This place has to rank in the top tier of NF campgrounds. Super nice place with large, well spaced, wooded, mostly level campsites. It's huge with about 200 sites, but it's so large that it never feels crowded even if it's sold out. My campsite was 2 miles from the main gate on one of five different loops. Many electric sites, both reserveable and FF. Beautiful big beach on an 11,000 acre lake. Plentiful water spigots and clean restrooms with free hot showers. Hiking trails, boat launch, excellent cell service, plenty of radio and TV stations available and most anything else that you would need in nearby Bloomington. I liked it so much that I stayed here 10 days.

Very Clean Quiet Campground
My family went here with a pop-up camper for two nights. The sites were big and private. The showers were clean and the people were friendly. They sell ice and firewood at the entrance. One Small complaint is that the ranger at the gate did not know about the trails we were going to hike and could not recommend a Catholic Church to go to.

Natural Beauty
I agree with previous reviewer. We too came in off season, no hook ups. Nevertheless, beautiful area. Well maintained. They have done a nice job leveling the hilly landscape. We did not have a problem finding a site for our 27 foot TT. Maybe difficult to find larger. Would love to come back in summer. Don't know why the dump station couldn't be open, even without water...

No Electric or Water in Off Season
Winding roads, some campsites are paved while others are gravel. Most sites required at least some use of levelers. Sites are not too close together and there are trees between for some added privacy. I was there the end of March 2018 and there was no fees, but again, there was no water or electric. Only one section was open for winter, so there are probably fewer than 30 sites available.
