Not A Great Camping Venue
The park itself is marvelous but the campgrounds are not great. You can level a 5th wheel or towable but good luck with your motorhome. Electric only sites are $30 which is fine, but they charge you an extra $7-9 entry fee after you’ve paid for the site. No refunds the day of arrival. Nice little scam! The CG is clean but it’s a typically noisy family CG. The power was out most of the night with a blown transformer during our visit. Not a great experience but the park may make it worth another try.

Pretty In The Fall
We came in at night and woke to beautiful fall foliage. Quiet and pleasant campground. Toddler and dogs both enjoyed a morning walk around the park and into a bit of forest trail. Husband enjoyed the mountain biking, describing a super groomed, super fast pump track. Bathrooms are clean, but showers are luke warm at best, hence the 4 stars!

Beautiful Park
Large site, only electric but fill station and dump station were easy to use. We had site 13 in Buffalo Ridge it was huge. Had space for our 30 ft camper and a tent plus lots of extra room. Will definitely be back. We were there for 3 days and barely even scratched the surface of things to do just in the park! Looking forward to coming back and exploring more!

Beautiful Park
The scenic views are breathtaking and it is quiet at the campsites. Bathrooms are clean. Campsites are small and due to the abundance of trees very little room for games.

Worth A Visit
This is a huge park with an abundance of sites. We normally stay at Taylor Ridge because of the heavily forested terrain. Bathrooms/showers are very clean. If you want to visit Ogle Lake, you'll have to drive a ways from your site. There's a look-out tower to climb, children's play areas, a small store, horseback riding, and lots of trails. Park staff is helpful and friendly. The nearby town of Nashville has many interesting shops (not overly touristy) and places to eat.

Great State Park And Campground
We really enjoy Brown County St Park and Campground. We prefer the sites that are further back into the campground as traffic can be a problem at certain times of the day if you get a site at the beginning of Taylor Ridge. Main bathrooms near the camp store are amazing and open year around if you want to try winter camping.

Impressive
NOTE: Travel Trailers use West entrance, NOT North due to covered bridge limitation. We did a Thurs-Sun in July for trailer camping and some mountain biking. Absolutely loved this place! We stayed in Buffalo Ridge on advice of friends since we have a 24' travel trailer. Sites are tight to some but we didn't have an issue - we have stayed at tighter places. If I had it to do over we would have gone down to Taylor Ridge simply because sites are wooded. No issues where we stayed, just like wooded better for us. Very nice staff and nice facilities. Given the weekend crowd, showers can get messy but nothing that wasnt expected for the crowds. We were able to bike to and from all my trails but even the 1 time we drove down to Pune Loop area, parking was ample. They have a Gen Store at campground check-in for extras you might need or missed packing. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect!!!
We were all very impressed with this park. The campground was nice and the shower houses were large and super clean. The only complaint I would have, would be the ability to change the water temperature in the showers. The lodge had a very impressive indoor water park. The hiking trails were really well kept and the Nature Center was very nice and informative. We really enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary viewing place. The squirrels are so funny! We will definitely be back!

Great Park, Great Staff!
We have been to the park numerous times, but we camped in the buffalo ridge loop for the first time this past weekend. The campground and park are very well kept and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a ton of stuff to keep the kids and adults busy for days. I highly recommend visiting Brown County State Park, especially in the fall, but book early it fills up quick.

Good State Park Close To Home
The State Park is beautiful with lots of great hiking trails. The campground is OK but maybe not as nice as you’d expect given all the beautiful forest around it. There’s not much shade or privacy and we were allocated a campsite with no option to choose, even though it wasn’t busy. Strangely they put straw around the fire pit, and at one point ours caught fire, fortunately we were able to put it out!

Great State Park.
We have stayed here a few times and plan to stay many more times. Great staff. Clean bath houses. Working on new pit toilets in the camping areas. Very quiet and family friendly. Highly recommended!!

Outstanding State Park
Brown County State Park is one of the best in Indiana and probably the Midwest. There are a lot of well maintained and marked trails for hiking and mountain biking. There is a pool and large campground with electric and primitive sites. This park takes reservations in advance and online and the campground is supervised. There are fantastic views of rolling, wooded foothills in this park and it is the best place in the state to see the fall leaf colors. There are shelters and picnic tables throughout the park and everything is well maintained and up to date. I highly recommend this park to everyone!

Beautiful state park! Visited only for 1 night in mid October. Was surprised How quiet it was in spite of all the campers. Rangers are very helpful and friendly. Hope to camp here again!
