We really loved the park! Our sites were roomy and well maintained. Lots to do! Only downside was the restrooms/showers were not very clean and were very dated. They needed some work. Other than that, the campground was great. We will likely go back!

Beautiful Park
This park is full of history and things to do. There are the twin caves boat tours into the upper twin cave, the pioneer village that you can easily spend half a day in and plenty of trails for the adventuresome and energetic. We loved it and will definitely come back again.

Great Park - Lots to Do
Spring Mill State Park is home to the Gus Grissom Memorial Museum celebrating the famed life of the early astronaut who came from nearby Mitchell, IN. The park also has a large pioneer village made of buildings originally located there or brought from nearby that go back to 1816. The village is staffed during the warm months by re-enactors showing the pioneer way of life. There is a working gristmill there and a pioneer museum. Work was recently completed on the small lake in the park and now it is 8 feet deep everywhere and suitable for fishing and small boats (kayaks, canoes). There is a hike/bike paved trail running along the road throughout the park. There is also camping, a State Park Inn, mountain bike trail and rental, as well as trails to hike. You can also find fresh Amish produce for sale in nearby Mitchell when it is in season. This great park has something for everyone.
