We didn’t plan ahead and needed a place for Memorial Day Weekend. I called and they fit us in. We paid holiday prices, but it was expected. The staff is very nice. They were upgrading the playground area when we arrived. There was someone on staff to handle calls. The sites are close together, and the seasonal campers are serious about their sites and lawns. Someone approached us right as we were leveling to tell us we had encroached upon their lawn. It was very busy since it was a holiday weekend. There is a $10 charge for a gate pass that is refunded upon checkout. We couldn’t find the laundry facility. It’s a very busy campground for the locals. The primitive camping area is really a back area that used to be RV sites but is now just overgrown. There is some cleaning up that is going on which is great. The actual lake is really not suitable for swimming. We now know to plan ahead for holiday weekends when booking a site.

A La Cart Charges
We stayed at the campground- the price was good, but there are lots of seasonal residents. the trimming trees at 8:30am grading the roads at the same time did not allow me to enjoy a quiet environment.
I was surprised that although wifi is available it is an additional fee. As well as any guests that visit.
