Great Place

Nice campground. Some permanent, some seasonal. We stayed one night. Level site. We didn't use baths/showers so can't comment. Nice trees and near the river. Great wifi service. Staff was very nice. Even gave us excellent recommendation for dinner.

Weekend Retreat

We have camped here in the past quite a few times. Restrooms are clean. The campground is large with open fields. Large covered Pavillion. Pet friendly. Nice RV sites, fire rings and picnic tables. Kishwaukee river is right here for kayaking. It’s nice and quiet.

Beautiful Campground

Amazing two nights stay, so quiet and so beautiful. The grounds are well kept with huge oak trees everywhere with great shaded areas, spots are level and big enough for whatever rv you have. Store has a few goodies, $2 mini golf, horseshoes is fun and staff is very friendly. Definitely wish we had our Kayak or paddle boards with us, the beach area is perfect. Definitely will be back if in the area again.

Quietest Place We Have Camped At

This is the place to camp if you don’t have young kids. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. Bathrooms are very clean and they have a great cleaning schedule. Will be back next year.

Very Quiet

I like this campground but if it rains the spots get muddy. I wish there was more for my teens to do but they survive.

Nice Place

Great place. We needed a quite place to pull in and sleep for the night passing through and this place was perfect. Nice clean grounds and facilities. Friendly staff. Easy to get in and out. Hope to get back there!

Better than expected

We stayed here one night. The camp was clean and quiet. Staff friendly as well as residents. Laid back atmosphere. Would stay there again.

Nice Setting

This park has a beautiful setting and it was quiet. Our space was tight to our neighbors and it was very muddy. The bathrooms and showers were adequate.

Nice Place!

Easy to book, nice place with lots of amenities. Lovely river view (no swimming). Clean showers and bathrooms. Lots of seasonal people so not a line for dump station. Playground, mini golf if the office is open.

Great Campground

We used this on our way to and from Wisconsin. Great park for an overnight stay. Very clean, showers were small but well maintained. Easy hookup and flat grass pads made for a nice quick setup. Big play area with lots of area for kids to run and play. Will definitely stop again when we’re in the area.

Clean

Called ahead of time last minute looking for a spot for the night. They were very nice and accommodating. Pull through for a one night was nice. This place is tucked out of the way by the river. Very quiet plus got to meet Toby a sweet golden that was staying there. Would stay hear again no problem.

Stayed Overnight

Nice campground but if you are not a seasonal camper or staying more than one night, they put you in their middle pull through spots which are grass and close together. The good spots are around the outer edge which are filled with their resident campers. Also, the property is on a flight approach path so jets are flying overhead.

Older Camp Show It Age

The camp ground is showing it age. Most site are for seasonal units. The nonseasonal unit are okay, but holds water if it rains. Need to have gravel pad would help. Also the full hookup share the same space with neighbors on the pull throughs
