Fun place for friends and family. Nice bathrooms are the campsites are level.

Pros: Friendly, helpful hosts and staff, level sites, close to shopping. Cons: water is very rusty, Verizon signal very weak, especially on weekends.

Nice camping. The people are really nice! Had a lot of good times . Has a bar,& food. My friends were residents there by the river, although nice view, it floods! They had a couple bad floods there which flooded the rv’s along the river, & then some! My friends took out their canoe and boated around the flooded grounds! It made for Great pics! Camp but beware of large rainfall !

I like the closeness to town and our Doctors. Very neat and well maintained grounds. Twice weekly pump outs. Very quiet during weekdays which we love. Fishing and soon to be opened pool. Love it!

It Shows Much Improvement

I love this campground!!_ they are working hard to keep it looking great! It has wooded lots and your not right on top of your neighbor. Its sits along the Kishwaukee River. You can go swimming or fishing in the river. Launch a kayak or canoe. There is a swimming pool its old but does the job! There are plans of a new pool coming. There are 2 parks for the kids. One is dated but hell I grew up playing on a metal slide and I'm still here. Up by the cute little camp store they also have miniature golf and a little gocart track! The only bad thing I can say is the mosquitoes. So bring lots of bug spray and enjoy your stay !
