Camp hosts are great people. They keep everything clean and are very friendly. That being said, the US Forest Service shut down the composting toilet vaults. They provide porta-potties that are only pumped every couple weeks. The camp hosts do the best they can keeping them clean.

Our favorite NFS campground on our 5 state RV trip. Quartz creek runs along the perimeter of the campground offering a soothing sound. This is a very clean, well kept, spacious campground. You can ride your ATV/OHV right out of the campground onto all the surrounding Gunnison National Forest service roads. Carolyn and Billie, the host/manager team are awesome too!
