Great Value
Yes, it is basically a gravel parking lot but I believe most of us are not on the road to experience great Rv parks. Instead here to explore the area. Keyhole reservoir is walking distance, devils tower an hour, Black Hills an hour or two drive etc. Carol, the host was very accommodating and helpful. A short walk away is R Place Bar and Grill. Great local watering hole w one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I will return next time I’m in the area.

Awesome Experience
We needed an economical place for to stay with our fifth wheel that provided full hookups at a reasonable cost, within a reasonable distance to Devil's Tower. This place delivered all of that! If you want a paved site with great WiFi and bathrooms/showers/laundry, this might not be for you. If you want the basics plus a safe and peaceful place that's in a gorgeous place, this is for you. Pine Haven is a beautiful town mostly surrounded by a lake. There's plenty of space to explore. We walked all over town each day (stayed three nights). Devil's Tower is maybe 40 minutes away. The drive there was gorgeous! Debbie the campground manager was super friendly and helpful! Great experience! We would stay again in a heartbeat! We paid $27/night.

Decent No Frills
Decide what you’re looking for.
If you want a nice campground with lots of amenities this is not for you.
If you want full hookups at reasonable price while you Day Trip to devils Tower or keyhole Lake, this May well be what you’re looking for.
Near the top of a hill in Pine Haven. All gravel. No picnic tables or fire rings. No showers. One portapotty. This is intended for self contained RVs.
There’s 24 sites, I counted 5 ‘permanent’ RVs; we were the second transient rig (lots of empty sites).
The manager was quite nice and helpful.
Again, decide what you’re looking for. This matched what we wanted so it’s great.

Gravel Pit
No trees, lots of residents and no travelers. No bathroom or showers. Drove through and did not stop.

Great Little Place
Called day of and got a spot. Can't beat the price. Close to Devils tower and the lake. Very quiet, very friendly and helpful.
