Great view & amenities
We spent $82/night with a KOA discount. They have a new pool and spa, which were nice on a hot day.
There's free miniature golf for residents and a nightly free viewing of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". There's nightly $10 hayride. There's only the KOA shop and the Trading Post across the road. Go to Devil Tower early in the day, else spend an hour waiting in line for parking.
The KOA WiFI was spotty and mostly useless in the evening.

I wanted to see Devil's Tower but having read the reviews of other travelers I decided it wasn't worth the price to stay at a poorly kept park. Normally KOA parks are nice places!!

Great Location, No So Great Park.
Right outside Devils Tower, awesome views from some of the sites. BUT the park leaves a lot to be desired. The two pools are empty and nothing is being done to fix them. Supply issues are blamed but the advertising still states they have working pools. The Cafe is closed, but all the signs say it is open. Park is useful for an overnight or two to see the monument, otherwise keep moving.

Ok...but
They looked like they were caught off guard. The toilets are under construction, the dog park is not finished, and the Cafe isn't full service although it's advertised as such. The view can't be beat.

Rude.. Miserable Staff
When I arrived the registration booth was closed and it directed you to the gift shop. When entering the gift shop 3 women were standing around not doing much or so it seemed of anything but complaining about customers and how they and I quote “hated them”. I did not stay!

Checked in at 5:35 pm. Asked for extended checkout and they gave us a whole 45 minutes extra. The place was half empty and no line at the door to get in.

Ok For A Night
We stayed here for a night. Great view of Devils Tower. It was overpriced for a gravel site.

No Better Views - Get Tower View!
We were at campsite 69. Back in FHU 50amp...worth it! Stared right across at devil's tower with no one obstructing our view. A little pricey but what can you say when the park entrance is a couple hundred feet down the row. Love the post office right at the campsite! Playground was wonderful. Good park!

I'd like to take a minute to say how great the owners and staff are at this park. We've been trailering since 2005 and very seldom have we met park staff like this. We pulled into the park and got settled then headed for the tower. When we got back we found (due to an unfortunate accident). One of the arms on my awning was bent. I reported it and the crew there went right to work. When they contacted the owner he came right out to see us. The first problem was get awning rolled up. After that was done, he let us know that he knew what had happened and he would take care of it. Since then the awning was fixed the owners took care of the bill over the phone and all is well with universe again. Thank you all very much for your help and service. WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wish We Could Stay Longer
Nice park, great location in the shadows of Devil’s Tower, a few of the sites were a little muddy but otherwise a great stay, I don’t agree with them charging registered guests in non full hook up sites a fee to use the dump station, but I guess they are a business trying to make money....

Loved It Here
I’ve payed way more at other KOA’s that don’t have this view, so I don’t think it was too pricey. Great playground, clean showers. Super friendly staff and the proximity to Devils Tower is amazing. Great family campground. The tent area also looked very spacious and pretty.

Close Encounters Of A 2017 Kind
My wife thought I was nuts - but watching as a products of the 70s, watching Close Encounters of a 3rd Kind - with the tower in the background - was cool. Take your camping chairs, popcorn and a blanket (we were there mid-Aug) n enjoy. The remainder of the park was un unremarkable - uneven dirt pads n usual crappy wifi. It's get 4 stars because of the outdoor movie - if that is not important to you, deduct 1 star

Overpriced
Yes they are next to the tower and the staff is nice. But they are over charhing to the point of gouging. Wifi wasn't good and the cable doesn't work. I also heard the staff turn away a customer asking for propane because they were not staying at the their campground.

Killer View
Nice clean place big sites easy to get in and out. Right next to Devils Tower. No cable and out of range for antenna wifi not very good spotty at best. If you are not into motorcycles avoid this entire area during bike week (first full week of August) it is busy and loud.
price is very high.

Towers
This was the second time at this koa.
1st time in their little cabins. Loved the spot next to red cliffs. Very quiet spot nice.
2nd time in our 35ft travel trailer. Spaces seem big enough. Water and electric.
Their were alot of class A coaches. Spaces are large enough. Beautiful place.
Hosts are very nice.
We ll come back.. we like this camp ground

Loved It!
My one and only complaint was having no cable...missed watching the Olympic opening ceremonies. Other than that, it is a great place to stay. .it is situated right at the gate to Devil's Tower. There is a nice gift/souvenir shop and cafe attached. .. the burgers and Texas toothpicks were good. Staff was friendly. .. we didn't even go into the park because we had a perfect view of the mountain from our campsite. .. don't count on getting in without reservations. ..it was completely filled the night we stayed. . The restrooms and showers were great. ..laundry room was opened 24 hours. ..oh and they have homemade fudge for sale and can't beat watching "Close Encounters" on there deck with the mountain in the background. . We brought our own pop corn. ..perfect.. maybe 4.5 stars!

Nice overnight stay.
Why rent the movie? Close Encounters shows free at main office deck each night at 8 pm. Nice enough for RV stay overnight and beside park entrance for Devil's Tower. Food/drink at store not so great a selection but the chocolate butterfinger fudge is good. Bathrooms clean. Not every guest cleans up after their pooches, so watch your step. Great view and location right beside the tower.

Could be a very nice park but...we had to ask the management to empty the poop trash at the dog run. 3 days it was just stuffed full, smelled and flies everywhere. If you check out/rent the movie, close encounters, do it from the morning staff. The night staff will charge your credit card $30 for the movie and then not refund the whole amount like the morning staff tells you. Its frustrating that you think you get a full refund and then not, cost $5 to watch the movie. We stayed 5 days and they put us in a site out away from the trees and no shade at all yet there were sites they could have put us much nicer. Just not a friendly experience like we are used to at KOA parks. They also told us that the cafe on site has the best food even if you wanted to drive into town. That was also not the case, the menu is very limited to just salads (small for the price) or burgers. Go into town, Hulett, for a nice meal and great service.
