It's a beautiful spot among pine trees, or in an open meadow, if you prefer. I drove a passenger van, went slow, and had no trouble. It's a beautiful drive in. I did not have cell service (T-Mobile). I chose not to stay (it looked like rain and this was too remote for me). There are hot springs 1 mile further down the road. Hiking trailheads nearby. $10 with senior pass.

Peaceful
Busy labor day weekend. Most people gone Tuesday morning. Quiet after that. Rough road to campground. Worth it. $7 with senior pass.
