Great Base To Explore Yellowstone/Cody
Stayed here Memorial weekend 2020 in a 37 foot class A at the North Shore CG spot 5. Close to the water. Paved roads. The sites are level, spacious with amazing views. We have the Wyoming state parks annual use/camping pass so that helps keep costs low. Great place to base out to not only explore the state park, but also Cody and Yellowstone NP. We stayed in the RV campground at the western end of the reservoir. Clean, nicely kept, but more grass than trees. Pit toilets. Sites reasonably spaced. Had a grizzly stroll through camp one night upending trash barrels. Nice pay showers. Reasonably close to Cody.

Rude
I just called to make a reservation and introduced myself and asked her how she was today. She told me she is closing and is very busy with an attitude to her voice. Makes u feel welcome!!! NOT

Nice Views
Great place to visit. Bring cash, they don't take anything else. But for $17 a day the view can't be beat. There aren't any discounts either unless you are ex military & a resident. Residents pay $10 a day. Still a good deal as Cody has a lot to do & you're only about an hour from Yellowstone. I'd give it 5 stars if they provided power & water at the sites. They do provide a dump station & potable water to fill your tank. First come, first served. Staff has been nice & friendly.
