Close To Beach

Easy in and out . Stayed two nights . Clean washrooms . Went swimming in Lake Superior. Beach is a short walk from main campground. 55 miles to Duluth . I would recommend a day or two stay .

We stayed here 3 nights. Very nice. Right on shore of Lake Superior. Would stay again.

South Shore Camping

Have stayed there and enjoyed the stay. Because it is municipal owned and operated, and due to COVID, the 2020 camping season was shut down for tent campers....self contained units only. Showers/restrooms are closed. In ‘normal’ years, very well kept, clean and nicely maintained.

We stayed here to visit/kayak the apostle islands. Tent sites right on superior, RV sites w full hook up . Shower trailer very clean! Wood available for fires, hosts were so friendly!
