Nice Setting

Large, well laid out RV park on hilly, gravel roads. Good shade, clean comfort stations. Laundry room very clean but could use more than 2 washers and 2 dryers for the size of the park. Nice office/gift shop with ice cream. Fun swimming pond and putt-putt. Very close to Bayfield which is a very nice town and marina. Don't miss the boat tours. It's a great way to see the islands. Some nice cideries in the area too. The whitefish served in the local restaurants was very good.

Great Campground

Friendly staff. Easy check in (and they follow up after your stay as well). Good power and water. Mostly level spots to fit big rigs. Many woodsy spots, and close to Bayfield.

Nice For A Few Nights

We stayed in the new section, site 79. It rained the whole time, but the sites felt private. We were not all on top of each other. Would stay again.

Nice Couple Of Days

Nice campground. We stayed in the new section spot 75 for a big rig. Lots of trees. Quiet. Would stay again.

Awesome Camping

I was very impressed. Beautiful setting and only a mile to Bayfield. Beautiful pool/pond. Quiet. Away from the noise of highways. Friendly staff. Excellent amenities. I was in site 101 with my 20 foot travel trailer. Excellent spot. Highly recommend. The site needs a little leveling. Other than that, it was well worth the money.

Hilly Area

Camped in the new section of the campground very nice except very hilly, our site was fairly level but the 2 other camper’s in our group had problems leveling their rv’s. The picnic tables and fire pits on their sites were not level. The shower house was very nice and clean, no check in required, decent rates.

Amazing

We are in the new section that is still being upgraded with a swimming pond. The camp sites are all terraced with enough space between each site.

Great Spot For Bayfield

Nice wooded campground near all Bayfield has to offer. Quiet and well maintained. We would recommend this campground.

Clean And Friendly

Great place, clean and friendly, we are pulling a trailer so needed a spot to park the trailer. Sites are back in, but plenty of room for our 38 ft motor home. Saw sites that can handle big rigs also. Would highly recommend this campground.

This place is absolutely wonderful!! We were originally booked somewhere else but upon arrival found that our trailer would not even fit in the spot & couldn’t put out our slides!! Called AIAC....they had a last minute cancellation!! Diane was so helpful & accommodating. She & her husband who own & also run the place went out of their way for us! So nice to find such an operation that believes in customer service & really take pride in their business!!! Showed us our spot & even came by to check that we had everything we needed. Some tight spots but shaded & well maintained. All the amenities you need without overdoing it. You are out and camping after all!! We will be back for sure!! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Nice Campground

Very nice and clean campground with friendly owners. Some of the sites were on the smaller side but not too bad. Store was nice and also has ice cream. Close to town and a short bike ride down the hill to the Howl adventure center and brewery which has a fun little single track mountain bike course and great beer. Great campground to stay at.

5 Stars and a Wish

5 Stars: 1. Kind, courteous, and helpful owners 2. An adorable store/office with lots of goodies (Definitely recommend the ice cream) 3. Shaded sites with mature trees 4. Great location - very close to Bayfield, WI 5. Updated playground equipment for kids Wish —> I wish there were modern bathroom facilities at the top of the hill, closer to the tenting sites and “premium” RV sites. The closest bathroom facilities available to the tent campers and “premium” RV sites is an outhouse (“pit toilets”) and they leave a lot to be desired. The showers/toilets are a good ways away, at the bottoms of a hill, and the walkway is steep and slippery. Yikes! Watch your step! Having said that, the showers/toilets were VERY clean. Each toilet has it’s own stall, but is “open” to the outdoors. Showers are currently $0.25 for a 5 minute hot shower.

Great quiet clean well set up campground. Owners went out of their way to be helpful. Great place to camp!

Great Campground

Great campground. Very spacious, and beautiful sites, close to downtown Bayfield, really nice and helpful owners. I'm subtracting 1/2 a star because of no WiFi included in a high priced site, although the new owners are working on adding WiFi. I'm subtracting another 1/2 star because the sites aren't level, they are on a hill side so I'm not sure how good they can be, but again for the price it should be worry free.

The new owners of this campground have it running smooth already. Nice to find owners that are so accommodating. Great view and handy location to town. We watched 4th of July fireworks from our site high on a hill! Nice open, quiet spaces and a nice playground for kids.

Great location for seeing Bayfield and the Islands. Young couple just acquired the facility and were very polite and courteous. We stayed up on top of the hill and could see the lake from our motorhome. Only a mile from downtown.
