Great Stop Off

I chose this RV park because it was close to the Tumwater/Olympia area. The manager, Kevin, was very congenial & proud of the efforts they take to keep the park tidy. The restrooms & showers were clean, plus they have recycle bins for those of us who try to be environmentally conscious when we can. Great grassy area near a creek for pets who will come when called (not fenced). I've read reviews that complained that all the sites were back in, but we had a roomy pull through with full hookups. I'll stay here again when I pass through this area.

Picked this place because of the reviews and photos for a week near Olympia. This is a strange one. The photos I saw were misleading so I took some of my own. Probably one of the worst RV spots I've had in our 6+ months of full timing. I attribute none of this to the management, who were friendly and helpful, although they wouldn't take card so we had to make an atm run. I've been in some tight spots but this has been the tightest. Very, very tight. One road in and out to our spot right on the road intersection. Had to step over neighbors sewage line just to get out of the truck. Also, the road is constantly very noisy from early morning to after dark. Location is decent enough being close to plenty of shopping and food options. Most spots are long term residents with very few part time spots nestled among the permanent rigs.

I talked to the manager, Kevin, for quite some time and he was happy to share his thoughts on where to go in the area, where to park my 31 foot rv in Seattle (Tukwila Park & Ride), etc. Full hookup, shower, WiFi, and laundry facilities for $35 is pretty decent I thought. The site is right near a little creek that you can walk down to and sit by. They’re really good about enforcing the rules of the park here for the safety and comfort of guests too. I called late (around 6pm) and got a spot without a reservation, thankfully. Good so far!

Very clean, organized well, not too many spaces, so call first. Bus stop right out the front.
