Yin And Yang Campground
What can I say, let's start with the criticism. Bathroom are is need of fresh paint and upgrades. Bath stalls are spacious, but not cleaned regularly. Mold and spider webs abound. There are no camp host. Seems like management relies on inexperienced youthful summer hires with low energy!
Campgrounds are nice in C loop and b loop, A loop is too close to interstate.... Noisy.
Good: great for bikes, runners, hikers. You can even bike to Yorktown and see all the encampments of the revolutionary war. So cool.

Nice Park But....
Nice park, lots of trees, bike trail, fishing, kayak and paddle boat rentals and large spaces. We stayed in spots B50 and B51, we were advised they were on a slope by water before booking...but goodness! It was almost impossible to get level.
We had a good time but sleep was impossible. Definitely bring a sound machine! The traffic from highway is so loud at night. That wasn't even the worst of it....TRAINS! ALL NIGHT LONG! Not like a distant train sound, it sounded and shook like the train was right next to the camper. I wouldnt do it again. Bathrooms need cleaning. Dump station line 1hr until checkout time took about 40min to get thru.

Convenient Campground
This is the perfect spot to stay when visiting Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg and Norfolk. Quiet area, very spacious and shaded camp sites. Restrooms older but very well maintained. Great water pressure in showers. Park rangers very helpful and round often. Playgrounds for children, bicycle and hiking trails abound.

Peaceful And Lovely!
We love this campground! Lovely mature trees, near water. Nice camp office with said store and laundry. Nice price: $36/night with Electric and water. Bath houses could be better, but ok. Paved campsite road and lots of great spacious sites! Stay in D loop for less I64 noise. Most sites look pretty level. We were given #117 upon arrival which is not level...but switched to #115 which is perfect!

Regulars
Me and my wife have camped here for several years now. My kids loved it here with all the trails and the parks to play at and the paddle boats. We now are empty nesters and still visit this park about 8 or 9 times a year. Park is well kept and staff are always friendly and ready to help. And the cold weather camping is awesome here. We get sites with power and water.

About The Dump Station
We only stopped to use the dump station before going home. It's $15 which okay, except that the dump station was super dirty and the cap was broken... what's left of it doesn't work.
Since we pay we were expecting a little better. We had better elsewhere for less.
Other than that the park looks gorgeous.
I removed 2 stars for the dump station, but I didn't want to remove more since I don't know about the rest of the park

Quiet For The Size
Very quiet place for the size of the camp ground. The only thing missing it is sewage at the campsite other than that family enjoyed it. Old showers but clean for the amount of use they are exposed to.

Beautiful Park
This is a gorgeous park for getting back to nature. It’s huge and offers everything a camper would want. A nice lake with canoe and paddle boat rentals. Boat ramp if you bring your own small boat, playgrounds, walking and bike trails and wildlife. First site we were given had huge bumpy roots trying to come thru (thought it would interfere with leveling) but we got another site without a problem. Dense shade with paved sites with grill and table. The holiday weekend filled then we were one of only 3 occupied sites in our loop by Tues. Small camp store with the essentials you forgot. Also sell ice and firewood, and hot dogs. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t speak to that. Whole place needed to be mowed but there has been a lot of rain. Advertise WiFi but it usually didn’t even show up as a signal and when it did, it wouldn’t stay connected. Thought a tad high at $36/nite for W/E and dump station.

Great Park
This is a great park. If you like outdoor activities this park has good bike and walking trails. Deer came right behind our campsite. The only downside for me was the mosquitos and other bugs at night. But that was on the hottest week of the year. I'm going back in mid November.

Need Improved And Updated
This could really be a nice campground. We lucked out and got and got a good site but may of the sites are sloped and unlevel. Some of the site are extremely sloped. Very pretty campground with lots of trees and shade. Some highway noise but not bad. The worst part and the reason I give it a three is the bathhouses are nasty and dirty. I complained about the one in loop B and they did clean it, but their idea of clean and mine are two different things. The one by the Sani station looks like a mud pit in the shower. Really gross. They have major cleaning issues.
