Nice Spot
My full hook up campsite was mixed with tent sites in an area with trees. Nice size sites but I wasn't crazy about people in tents sitting outside my door with dogs tied up... but not a big deal. There is a pool, nice kids playground, disc golf, paved bike paths for miles and a huge grassy area. Picnic table and fire pit at each site. We would go back.

Not Happy
Our site was a muddy mess. The showers were horrible. Even my son wanted to leave!

Monthly Camper
This is a beautiful little campground. Very relaxed on rules and regulations. (I.e. they don’t care about how many cars are on your site and are just generally very hands off. Beautiful views of the river and park is always clean. Sites are decent size I can park my Ram 3500 next to my camper and still have plenty of room around both. For a full hook up site it wasn’t priced unreasonably for the area. All in all, can’t wait until we come back.

Good
15 min away from Jamestown settlement. A little tricky to find office if you don’t know where it’s at. It’s the first building to your right. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Full hook up and part hook ups are in two different areas. Full hook up has nice tree area. Part hook ups are in a field, some have trees. We were in lot that didn’t have trees. But it really wasn’t a problem. We stayed here because we wanted to be close to historic triangle. Was a very good distance. Showers were good. In need of touchup paint and longer shower curtains. No one walked in so wasn’t really a problem. This is part of a community park, lots of foot traffic. Safe and quiet area. The only negative was back up RV parking at an angle. When getting ready to leave your angled the opposite direction and they don’t have a designated area to turn around. Like many other RVers before us, we made it work.

Great Little Place
As I’m writing this review I’m sitting at my site overlooking the river and enjoying every minute of this wonderful little place. Nothing big but gives more time for sitting around with the family talking and of course cooking. Fire pit is excellent! Sites have plenty of room and everyone is great. Bathhouse is clean and has hot water. Pool was great but only open from 12 to 6. Get there early because even with staying onsite they will turn you away if they hit capacity, it’s open to the public. Bring the fishing polls because there are plenty of places to drop a line. We will return....

Great Place
We stayed here for 10 nights in August and loved the campground, pool, proximity to all that Williamsburg has to offer. Would stay there again and recommend it to our friends who come to town instead of any of the commercial campgrounds.

Great Stay
We stayed at this site for 3 nights. We had a nice time, the campground isn't anything spectacular but still a nice place to stay while visiting the local attractions like Williamsburg and Jamestown. The drive was very close and convenient to the attractions. The cost of the campground was a bit high at 38.00 a night but you get full hookups and the river view was nice. Kayaks and canoes can be rented here and offer a nice relaxing paddle on the James river.

Bikepacking
A little spendy if you're on the cheap but hey. 30 might be going rate as I'm new to this. Great views good separation power available at some spots. Probably higher cost. Clean showers and pool .... great staff at reception. Ice drinks and snacks and some decent instant meals if you must buy from them. Peace

We are new to camping and were told that this would be a great place. WOW were they right. Beautiful sites some next to the creek with full hookups, the water is beautiful, bath houses clean, swimming pool and golf driving range. Yes we will be back often.
