Very Quiet And Clean

We stayed a week in early October very quiet and everyone was very friendly. We also found a couple good local restaurants close by. They also put lines on the basketball court for pickleball that’s a bonus. Bath houses were very clean and well kept.

A Few Historical Sites Nearby

Stayed here 2 nights as part of our Thousand Trails membership. Stayed in site C7 and had power issues. We plugged in 50amp and our EMS alerted us that the 2nd leg had low voltage, so we ended up dogboning down to 30amp without problems. Water pressure was good at 55psi. Check-in was pretty quick and easy. We stopped at the front door. They met us with a golf cart and led us to our assigned spot. We backed in without too much trouble other than the 50amp power issue. We did have an employee yell at us for not displaying our rearview window tag while driving out of the campground one day. I don't like having something obstruct my windshield view when driving so I don't drive with the tags hanging. I put them back up after I park. But she yelled at us from her golf cart and insisted we hang it, not just show her that we did indeed have it. There are a few historical sites not far away, but otherwise it's a bit of a drive to see much else. Probably not a campground we'd recommend.

Excellent Stop For A Relaxing Get Away.

The campground is very well kept and the bathrooms were kept very clean. The staff was friendly and energetic, always willing to help. The kids and I loved the pool and they had floatations devices for my youngest to help her keep up with the others. All in all a very relaxing stay. Just what we needed to get away from the same old for a few days. If they would have been able to offer wifi and cable it would have been a five star for sure.
