We stayed here during the week and absolutely loved the park. Very clean, the staff were great, river access for tubing and huge sites. Can’t wait to return.

The wife and stayed and absolutely loved this place. The last time I was here was in the 80s and they have done a wonderful job building the park up. Just remember to get your key card at check in

Relaxed Family Fun
From the front gate all the way to the back lots, the staff at Watermelon Park are super nice and go above and beyond to keep their guests happy. The campground is for the most part level, clean bathrooms, and large lots with shade. They have both back in spots and pull thru. The river is calm and peaceful. Not to mention you can catch some decent size catfish. The tubing is priced well and you get a discount if you book online! They really take pride in their park and it shows. I would HIGHLY recommend Watermelon Park in the NOVA area!

Quiet park along the Shenandoah River. Access off Rt. 7. Busy on weekends, a lot of people floating down the river. Will stay again.

Excellent facilities. Old man who runs it is a bit of a crank, but Brent the security guy is excellent. Fills up on the weekends. Right on the river. Full amenities.
Two great events yearly; River and Roots and Watermelon Park Fest. Two of the best bluegrass events in the mid Atlantic.
